Believe it or not I was the only Ethiopian in this camp about 28 years ago...I will never forget how every Somali family looked after me despite the fact that I did not share tje same religion with them..in fact this video has promoted me to go back and do some soul searching....I honesty didn't think this camp would still be there and now I know that it is and it is on my top to do list...thank you for accidentally touching my life🙏

Geenyada Madow, that was my life 20 years ago and I do really missed that simple, less stressful life. I leave in the US right now and my plan is to go back to Africa and hopefully visiting the camp so my kids can see where I grew up. THANK YOU!

Wow I worked in Ifo 1992 for 5 yrs. I'll never forget my experience there under CARE. It changed my life. I loved the women grps. Mahadsanit. People there are so resilient. It's sad to see that the camp is still open.

Ifo nuura is the city that I was born in 1994 when I was 5 years old I moved to dhagahley camp 14 years I lived there. It was a nice life,
I love refugee camps. It was were I grew up. In 2014 Me and my family we got resettlement from United state so that’s is kind of pretty life and you know what’s real life. 🥰🥰

My dear sister, if we compare the situation in which these people are living, and the situation of prophet Mohamed Peace be upon him , and his companions lived, we can say that refugees have better living standard than SAHABAS. Because, these people eat on daily basis whilst the prophet S.A.W and his companions would stay for three successive months without eating except dates, and water. My dear sister, We are hear to worship Allah, and not to lead a fancy life.
