Was really hoping they'd make some much needed changes to the contraband system with this update, because as it is now schematics are next to impossible to get if you're a strictly a f2p player. I still think it's a joke that you essentially get nothing for trading in epic battlestat skins. Since you get 3 schematics for scrapping a progressive skin, it'd be fair to get 1 schematic for scrapping a battlestat skin but i'll be damned if i'll scrap a battlestat skin for only 200 polymers.
I have got many schematics and polymers through the valhalla slr crate. Just go in the different crates and check the % on schematics and such. The last two crates have upped the drops on those. In fact I got 5 schematics on a free 10 coupon 3 days ago, although I think the chances are more on 2 schematics etc.

Plus the ugly ass chroma skins (I got the mk12 and salvaged the chroma, same for beryl) because they seem to be giving you the chroma skins easier, so you will grind for the progressive one. Either that or I have just been lucky on that one as well. The chroma skins gave me a fair amount of polymers and schematics. Plus I get tons of free coupons through missions, login events and such. Having come from H1Z1 , going through alpha pubg and supporting the game all this way even while they mismanaged the game, introduced bots and allowed hackers to run rampant. I honestly feel insulted and beyond disgusted by what this game has become. Its pretty obvious the chinese have gotten their fingers into krafton somewhere along the line.

Last night I got the progressive trick or treat chroma for free, and right after that opened a hideout and got the base trick or treat, disassembled some outfits and crafted it for 20k. So basically I got that for free
Without buying anything(didn't even buy premium pass) using tokens bought loot cache in that got a prime parcel and in that i got gear head. But the problem is I don't have 20,000 credits so all bp is going get used for hunter cases

i used total of 36k G-coins got all the items with chroma skin for Beryl and purchased m4a4 which was missing from my Inventory. that M4 skin is the best one imo .

Sad thing is, when they first introduced cosmetic and weapon skins to the game they could be traded...they removed that feature to control the market since people were trading them on 3rd party marketplaces like Skinport for real world money, it left a lot of people pissed because if you had your skins listed on a 3rd party site and they were sitting in a trade bot inventory, then the skins were locked and couldn't be retrieved...it's a shame, the old PUBG economy functioned similarly to CS & TF2.

When they first introduced loot boxes, hence wearable cosmetics and weapon skins...everything from those loot boxes including the loot boxes themselves was marketable (meaning it could be sold on the Steam marketplace) and tradeable (meaning you can trade with friends or sell the skins on 3rd party sites). About a year or so after they introduced the loot boxes they removed the trade feature from said items, however they did leave them marketable on the Steam Marketplace...however, with those changes they now control the skins in the game and gain financially regardless, even those items sold on the Steam Market generate revenue for PUBG devs. I used to be big into buying/selling/trading CSGO, TF2, and PUBG items and can tell you a lot of people got burned when they removed the trade feature, a lot of items ended up locked in trade bot inventories as a result. Bottom line, PUBG devs have always been greedy so the CONtraband crates and the way we have to level up the progressive skins should come as no surprise to anyone who has played the game long enough.
