Reminds me of all the plans and purchases, projects and products of our effort that we never use, doomed to rot because it just didn't work out. And some might say the deck was just a waste, a useless structure of wood without much shade or family and friends to occupy it. As someone who writes k with the circle, i was taught that way and the explanation was that it was to make it easier to transition to cursive. When i moved from arizona to kentucky, i had a teacher in kentucky get upset with me for the k with a circle and i refused to change. Ive switched writing most of the letters to the not cursive transition version but i refuse to change my k. Basically, I relate to aiden's story, but the exact opposite.
