Just curious, if my mother lives in GA, and I live in NY can I be subjected to filial law when her nursing home funds run out and there is a possibility of not receiving Medicaid? Thank you for the information!

The term adult child tells me everything i need to know about this generation. They lack the respect to just call us ADULTS. After years of hording and taking wealth of future generations they want us to put money on them with no return on investment. I say "pull yourself up by your bootstraps"

The term 'adult child' in this context just refers to progeny that have reached their legal maturity. Son, daughter, etc.
