There are so many reviews of the T7 but this review is just above and beyond them.. since 90% of the people wouldn't do hard core off road and somehow every review seems to be geared towards that. Thanks for covering the topics which actually matter to riders like myself 😊
This is the review everybody needs but not deserve. Seriously, the best review of T7 out there. No nonsense, straight to the point and is fully satisfying. Thanks bruh.
@@RayRay-or2jj tbh fortnine gets a little too technical in their review. It is easy when he's explaining, I ain't complaining but is it to the point? Nopity nope 😀 is it the best? Ehnn..
As a new rider who just picked up a T7 last week, I feel the review is spot on. I am 6'4", the main draw to the T7 was its size and simplicity. I did not want to have a lot of sensors and electronics to worry about issues with, nor did I require a lot of adjustment and power settings. It has enough adjustability for a novice to learn from, and enough power that it doesnt feel underwelming. It actually feels like it has plenty of jam to pass on the highway and in no way do you feel like the bike is struggling. My only complaint on the highway was wind noise, but thats due to my height and not the bikes fault. My first impressions offroad were actually comfortable. The tires were adequate for FSR use, but for more trail oriented riding, I would definitely suggest something more aggressive. In summary from an inexperienced rider, if your a taller and even larger rider, I would check the T7 out. It seems to fill the "all rounder" field nicely. Thanks again for the review, I especially liked the sound clips comparing stock vs akro...definitely on my to do list.
I had to sell my T7 when I left the US. This review is one of the best on this bike. It was so easy to gain confidence off road with this bike, but it was also a superb daily ride. Whenever I settle back down somewhere, I'll definitely get another T7.
It really is a fantastic machine, one of our all time favorites. Thanks for the kind words and we hope it's not too long before you get to own another T7.
Excellent and thorough review. I've watched hours and hours of Tenere 700 videos and didn't know the foot shift lever and rear foot brake lever fold back to prevent breaking. Thank you for doing a review that just didn't cover the "superficial" things. GREAT REVIEW. I also loved that in addition to discussing the features, you covered both the on and offroad capabilities of this bike. For me, the majority of my riding will be paved secondary roads, and from time to time gravel roads. I like that even though im not on logging or fire roads, I could ride on those if I wanted to. Having a T7 to me hopefully makes me feel like I'm riding a swiss army knife. It has the capability of doing just about anything if I need it to. I just ordered one and will hopefully pick it up May of 23. I'll have to drive 600 miles to get it but they are so scarce that I don't mind. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR AWESOME REVIEW!!!
It's always great to hear that people enjoy our content 😁 Thanks so much for watching and congrats on ordering a fantastic motorcycle! We wish you many safe and happy miles.
Great vid! I use my 2022 black same in vid mainly as a road bike and I absolutley love it. Rides in california canyons are amazing. Bought to replace supermoto for longer rides where the single isn't the most comfortable!
Thanks so much for the kind words! Great idea! We'll definitely look at adding more content for new and developing riders. Thank you for watching and take care.
All motorcycles will decelerate when you hit the kill switch while traveling down the road, in gear, with the clutch engaged. The kill switch cuts ignition (spark).
That makes sense. I used to hit the kill switch and coast down the drive way coming home from work at odd hours of the morning /evening all the time so my brain is primed to expect the same outcome. What makes this weird is how it happens. It doesn't cut out immediately, it has this odd delay to it. Almost as if it gives you time to thumb the starter and get it going again in case you hit the KS in error. Weird... - Josh
This seems like a yamaha add?? I own the 22 T7 and if he actually put down some miles. Shifting is notchy unless you ride cruisers then ok better than that. Im hoping switch to synthetic oil will help. Down shifting quickly it can lock in neutral. Note for heavier riders , you'll need buy springs for your weight. It's sprung for 168lbs. Rider and the seat stock is almost like a rock. Thin. This video not even close. But still love my T7 after mods.
Hahaha we'd love to get paid for these! Unfortunately there's no money in that. As for the bike we had on test, we had 4 different riders give their feedback and we all came to the conclusion you see in the video. If you don't agree with the video it's all good, we all experience life and motorcycles differently✌️ Have a great day!
Simply to add an option that leans further into hard off-roader and how it would compare in terms of price point and specs. This allows us to better cover the full spectrum. But the KTM 790 /890 would be great options as well!
@@MotoTribeTV I pointed this out because the 690 is the only single cylinder bike in the list, and the obvious [to me] competition should have been another bicylinder bike from the KTM offering.
Not really. As pointed out by others, seat height isn't that much of a problem. The only time it really becomes an issue is if you put your foot down and the road slopes away from you or trying to back the bike up while seated. Apart from that, you should be fine. If it really is the bike you want, you'll find a way to work around it. ✌️
Looks like it's having a hard time holding it's own with just the rider. The TH-cam picture makes it look like it has a broken back, and is just inches away from dragging it's belly on the pavement... What the hell do you weigh, dude?

The best TH-cam moto review I've ever watched...
Wow thanks so much for the compliment! Glad you enjoyed it!

That's awesome man! Glad we could help be part of your decision making process! All the best with your new wheels!
Thanks for the video! Greetings from Poland
Thanks for watching!
Seat height isn’t an issue if you know what you’re doing. To add, 5 foot 8 is 172 cm, not 178cm;)
Very nice review with great production. I predict good things for you :) Subbed.
Thanks! We'll be sure to keep up the good work! 😁
Excellent review, just excellent. This are how things should be done. Congratulations.
Thanks so much! We put a lot of effort into these reviews so it's great to hear they are appreciated!
I love that you guys have three riders so you can see the height differences. Don on his tippy toes is my favourite :"D Great review as always, chaps!
You know we don't do half measures 😉 Thanks for the love!
Came to say this, really appreciate this
You know what guys the sad thing is that i will never ride this motorcycle cuz i will nver have the money to buy it as a family guy

Thank you, glad you enjoyed the video! It's a fantastic motorcycle you have there! Enjoy it 👍
please keeo it up, my one of fav motorcycle channels. If you can add videos for beginner how to be more experience riders would be appreciated

Looks like all three of the riders managed touch both legs down.
So, what is their inseams actually ?
Especially the 1.65 , 1.82 height riders?
31 and 32 inches respectively (79cm & 81 cm)
@@MotoTribeTV are you sure ?
It looks like smaller guy has proportionately longer legs than the significantly taller 6' guy !
175см. Good👍
Indeed!
Pretty nice vid, but why did you put 690 in the competition sheet instead of 890 or 790 is beyond my understanding.
Simply to add an option that leans further into hard off-roader and how it would compare in terms of price point and specs. This allows us to better cover the full spectrum. But the KTM 790 /890 would be great options as well!

Your thinking makes complete sense. Like we said, it's simply to add more variety.
No TC
Tub tires
No quickshifter
No seat but plank
Yamaha, we do not live in 2000 anymore
Go TET route solo and without InReach Iridium connection and the lack of electronics saves you life. Reliable as fuck.
nice funny review 👍👍👍👍👍👍 I own one also 😁😁
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it 😁
superrrrr!
Thanks! 😁
Im 1,70, 70KG and my legs are 78cm long, am i to small ?!😢 I sat once on ber, bzt without riding boots

Caballero 700 for Québec
👌
1.97 is more like 6'6, not 6'4.
Sorry about that. Feet and inches aren't units of measurement we use often in SA. We must have miscalculated the conversion.
@@MotoTribeTV It's ok. Good video by the way.
Thanks so much!
what's the year of this model?
It's a 2022 model sir!
If only it were 80 lbs lighter.
Can't win them all unfortunately...
what's the name of music in the beginning 😍😍
It's a song called Cherry Limeade by Fantoms - Greg

Maje a low frame model sell 2 million more !! . be smart ! Like bmw
Business!! 🧠
The pillion seat and the seat on the whole IS as bad as it looks, don't sugarcoat it.
We've certainly encountered worse but we understand seat comfort can be very subjective. But nevertheless, thanks for watching and have a great day!
Very well put together video. Enjoyed the watch!
Thanks for watching! 😁
