    Having a power source separate from your vehicle's with a power inverter can be a great way to bring a printer along with you on signings. I'll be having one set up in the back of my Trailblazer.

    I use that sorter as well but I just print both sets at once, so two sets of legal and then go back to letter and do both and just use the sorter as a guide to quickly assemble each package

    Is there a notary community in LA you recommend? I just started my 6 hr classes for commissioning and I am more of a hands on / visual learner and I am a little worried about my first signing. I think the major thing I am worried about is knowing what each document means in order to build the confidence to let the signers know what they are signing.. how long do you take to prepare for each signing? Since I do have a full time job, I am hoping to do signings Fridays after noon and on the weekends. I hope this will work out, I am not sure how many direct signings do signings on the weekends. This video was super helpful and I appreciate you sharing this!!

    Hi Amanda I love your videos
    Quick question
    Wy do you have to ship documents or pick them up ?
    I thought notary's only verify signatures

    • @tatianabritton6258
      @tatianabritton6258 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That’s correct for general notary work. For loan signing agents, we are required to pick up (if you’re near the title/escrow office) or scan and ship out the documents to title once the closing appointment is complete. Some lenders require scans as a back up just in case the original documents get lost in the mail. There’s a major difference in expectations between a general notary and loan signing agents.

      Sadly, the price has gone up bc of the demand. It used to cost around $400. The laser is faster than a regular ink printer. Efficiency is important in this business.
