This is a really great song, the video is perfect, man you look good on camera ha ha, I think you made hard choices, I was to scared to make, I seen my self as the guy you picked up off the street on the sugarland video, the right agent would have made you a different person and gave you a different life, you’re safe with twins and have Cathie, and everyone thinks you’re the best and dude your. Wife, family is beautiful!

I like to say hello every time I come back here , watching the video is like going home to family, many of them gone now but the memories of packing spring water, washing in the creek and growing up on Jasper mountain with the family playing music, I think this was a dream all of us had, thanks David, these songs are truly amazing.

@cnagytrainiac Yep, I know this ( I think everyone does, or should). Been a Train fan for over 10 years....... They are one of the best bands out there! David is a great artist, it's okay to cover someone's song and make it fit you. As long as you do it justice, I think justice was done here.

Love this guy since way back!! Just saw him in Tucson at the Whiskey Roads. David is worth way more than the music industry credit given. He's still has so much potential. Not sure who his agent is but he needs a proactive one. Should've been way more fans at that concert for the size of our city. Keep going David. There's way more ahead for you! Sarah, David Nail didn't actually write this song. It was a Train song that was written by Pat Monahan about his battle with depression. It's an amazing song and David did a real nice cover of it.

You're so right. So many people on this video are getting defensive about comments saying that Train is better. I personally think that they are, and I don't care for the song being sung in the country genre. It sounds off to me. Aside from that, I've never really heard of David Nail before until this video. People need to give credit where it's due, because a lot of people are saying that this is his original song. :)
And if you want to know why they didn't release more singles, you have to know that the two singles "Calling All Angels" and "When I Look to the Sky" remained in the hits for a lot of time! And I don't think that David Nail remained in the hits for so much time!

This is a fabulous cover of my favorite Train song. David Nail has a gorgeous, clean tone, not twangy but country and is reminiscent of Vince Gill. To take on Pat Monahan is no easy task and this is a definite successful cover, one that is different, but equally as awesome in the true sense of the word.
