Building an off grid cabin alone with free and recycled materials (part 2)

This is the second part of a series of videos of me solo building an off grid cabin alone using only free and recycled materials.
I started building this cabin a few years ago as a workshop on the farm. The idea behind it was to try not to spend any money on the building and use only materials that I could gather for free, natural materials, and recycled materials. So I built it out of cedar polls, wood scavenged from skips, and wattle and daub with willow and mud.
This involved experimenting with a range of natural building techniques and learning as I went along.
This building is designed as a combination of a yurt, a pole barn and a hobbit house.
It's completely off grid, so I started off only using hand tools. As I went along, I began to introduce a few power tools - a drill and impact driver, a makita circular saw and a makita chainsaw.
