Do you agree on my statements?
I have the black version, so yes i do.
@@ricardoinverno glad to hear this Ricardo!
I also agree. However I emailed them if they sell in Canada and if not if they would ship to Canada and no response. Not impressed with them.
@@josecarlos11 get in touch with me, we can surely help you! 🙏🏼 samuel@styleofzug.ch
Nope.
I think this is one of the design never get tired of looking ,no matter how many time I have seen it
Same for me. Everytime i pick it up it’s an enjoyment
This fountain pen is just perfect !
My same feeling 🙏🏼
Agree! Even design is enough to put it on top of the industry, other features just emphasize its value and greatness😊
🙏🏼👍🏻
It is a nice Bauhaus design but in my book this needed an ink window. If they can add one, it would be damn near perfect
I can agree on that, with the ink window it would be the ultimate pen!
It looks like a Parker Vector!!
I do love almost everything about the design of this pen. The only thing for me is the 80g weight.
Yes that can be a bit challenging for some. 🙏🏼
Ughhh....now I want one 😍
👏🏼
I am lucky enough to have one, ughhhh, now I want two more 🤣
Otto Hutt makes really high quality pens! I will select the rollerball version.
👏🏼💪🏼
I didn't want to buy this pen but I heard so much reputation of this pen from you that I want to try it once, But the problem is that none of the collectors I know have the pen, so I have no choice but to buy it and try it
Not everyone has it yet - but the one who do are really happy - at least the one i know. I can only recommend it and you will not regret owning the piece.
For the price, that clicking sound makes it annoying in a quiet boardroom meeting, or wanting less distraction when writing. A visual feedback on the piston mechanism would have been a better choice.
I like the concept behind this pen a lot. However I wish it came with something similarly sized to a No. 8 nib. I like large nibs.
Excellent video and presentation. I have the same model (the all black version, with a fine nib): I also own some more expensive pens, but none write better than this one. What I found pleasantly surprising was the quality control: the pen wrote flawlessly right out of the box. I know this should always be the case, but I have had to send many high-end pens to the nibmeister for adjustments related to flow and skip issues. If I had to mention a single drawback, I would highlight the filling mechanism: yes, it is innovative, but in my opinion it is unnecessarily complicated without bringing any substantial advantage over a normal piston filler. I thought I was the only one, but some reviewers pointed this out. That said, overall a fantastic pen!
Thanks for sharing your opinion so precisely. All very interesting. In my opinion Fountain Pens in that range are not purely functional - but rather Engineering marvel. I do agree that an innovation shall be connected to some kind of utility. In this case i’m kind of happy when i do the act of closing down the piston. 🙏🏼
@@SamuelNaldiValid point. 👍
Now I need to find a place in which I can buy this pen at a good price ;-)
Style of Zug is one of the place to go. 🙂
I badly wish I had it with me 😢😢
💪🏼
I think you need a caveat. This is the best since the Lamy 2000 IF you e.g. wear a sports watches, but if you prefer perpetual calendar to nautilus, it isn't.
Hi Dear - i’m not talking of style in the video - i’m talking about how the pen is thought, processed and manufactured. It’s not necessarily the best LOOKING pen - but in my opinion the pen with the most effort made to be brought to live. 😊
@@SamuelNaldi Fair enough. For me its a pen I keep almost buying, but then remember I wear suits and dress watches most of the time. And this is NOT a criticism, your German and especially your Italian are way better than mine are, but just because I think it will be beneficial for you to know, native English speakers associate being called "dear" in this way with internet scammers (if you google "scammers dear reddit" you will see people talk about this a lot)
This is really cool, but how can we not even talk about Conid?
I know this video is about Otto Hutt but what is your opinion on the Lamy Safari? I have one and want to add a couple more fountain pens, a few being the Pilot vanishing point, Montblanc, Conklin. I want a few but have no need for a lot. I think the Monblanc is the pen all others are judged by.
There isn't much to think a about regarding the Lamy Safari, it's a 37$ Fountain Pen, it's funny. I think that's it. Surely don't recommend a Conklin. Personally not a fan of the Pilot Capless but it does have its peculiarities. Montblanc is a classic - i would go for the LeGrand.
do u have a watch collection ???
No
At almost 1100euro, it's a distant dream. BUT: they should have included S&H, seriously.
What is S&H
@@SamuelNaldi Shipping and handling.
The exterior design is very interesting. Unfortunately the pen is let down by a truly ugly and not-true-to-concept section. Really awful choice.
Matter of taste i guess - in my opinion the grip section is a work of art. 🙏🏼
Hundred percent agree. I have used most of the great pens made, and i totally hundred percent agree💛🐕🦺💙, the Otto Hutt is the best fountain pen maybe of all times
So so glad to read this Dear Shubanshu!
