    Wonderful end to the video. These athletes are phenomenally talented and work incredibly hard, and it has taken them to the peak of the sport. They are all inspirational.

    Heartbroken for Spencer and Dake. Thank you. I am not disappointed in you. I am disappointed for you. It’ has been a honor to see all of your matches. Good luck with what you do next. I hope to see you both in LA.
    I am also proud of these fans giving love to our champs. Of Course I am jealous of you being able to be there.
    I love our sport. Proud to be apart of it. I am 55 years old and these young people have made me love it even more.
    Thank you for doing this video.

    One thing I’ll say about spencer is, he’s very special to watch dominate opponents-even as a collegiate wrestler he was nothing anybody had ever seen for a long time: heaviest of hands, quick to the legs, strong as a god dam bull and fearless. That’s something that comes every generation and t overcoming this mental battle after this loss is just another notch on his stacked belt. He is SPENCER FREAKING LEE

    Dude I just have to say I wanted a way to reach out to the athletes and give them praise and support, and so hopefully this video gets to them. Guys I am so happy to be behind you as an American wrestler, I hope we don’t lose any of you before next years worlds I want to see you all succeed and run it back for success! Thank you guys for the sacrifice and dedication!

    There is no lack of effort from the USA team...many athletes the world over are peaking at the right opportunity...very spontaneous, wherewithal, hustling wrestling from many competitors...that is good for the sport...

    Not always best wrestler wins.
    Often is a matter of one millimeter of reach, one second of luck, not correct scoring.
    Spenser is the best,he deserved the gold so bad.
    It was beyond heartbreaking to see tears in his eyes during the medal ceremony.
    The silver doesn’t make him worse wrestler,I hope he realizes that his loss doesn’t change who he is,the best wrestler in the world.❤

    Spencer was one scramble away from winning the gold. That scramble was so very close to going the other way. Rei has a lot more international experience at the senior level, that will change. *KEEP THE FAITH SPENCER. WE LOVE YOU, AND YOU REPRESENTED THE USA IN A SUPER AWESOME WAY!* I'd sincerely put my money on Lee in the next match vs. Higuchi, as tough of a match as it will be. Same goes for K. Dake! WE LOVE HOW INCREDIBLY GREAT YOU REPRESENT THE USA Kyle! Multiple World titles for Dake and Olympic medas! THANK YOU 🤼‍♂️❤💯

    Dake’s ability and mindset have become a standard that people pursue. It isn’t the accomplishments, it’s the process people pursue, and obviously that is what brings improvement and success. Spencer has demonstrated that exceptional skills transcend space, time, and style. We are the sport of knowing how tough it is-that’s why we wrestle, to become adjusted to the toughness life brings, so we can always rise to the challenge. We all know how tough the challenges you’ve chosen to guide your life by, and we know how amazing your accomplishments are. Becoming an Olympian is a pipe dream for the world, and medalling is a dream within a dream that catches all the breaks for just a few. You bring the world of wrestling to a better place 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

    • @jasonedwardcook
      @jasonedwardcook 5 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      It hurt because we want it for him, because his desire has brought us so much joy to see him make the sport more entertaining, meaningful, and advanced. We learn from him, and we kinda just get silenced when anyone says “are you not entertained.”

    Nothing to be ashamed of for the USA. I have nothing negative to say. I follow US freestyle and know these guys pretty well. Wrestling is a hugh commitment on the collegiate level and more so at worlds. Sometimes you lose. There are tough wrestlers in other countries as well as the US. Kid's right....keep on truckin' guys.

    Such a contrast. American fans and their male olympic wrestlers are so easy going after not winning any gold medals. As an Iranian, our wrestlers and fans, we are mourning hard and we will be for the days to come after Yazdani and Zare's losses. Iran placed 1st in Greco and may still manage to place first in Freestyle if everything goes well tomorrow, but I don't know, I can't get over Yazdani and Zare getting silver. Devastating. If he would have interviewed me, it would have been dark lol

    It was one of the best teams ever but the team as a whole did not wrestle up to there best probably not even close for whatever reasons I thought that they would get at least three golds not one and but the sport has to make changes they need more weight classes I don’t believe it’s right to any guys losing too much weight it messes up a great sport

  • @RandyLex-wu6jy
    @RandyLex-wu6jy 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

    You really want to make the sport exciting try a new wrestling meet where one period is freestyle one Greco one sumo and one just points for throws and in a world championship have three styles get the sport exciting it’s stuck in the mud it’s lost it’s zing
