Suriano left $ on the table chasing this. He’s never been a huge freestyle guy and the results have backed that up. Just go to MMA and be done with it. I wish the best for Dayton. Yea he’s boring, but. good guy.
Nice to see that OSU still has some good ol' boys behind the scenes at this level. ABSOLUTELY NO WAY DATON MADE WEIGHT AT 57kg. Its almost comical like they aren't even trying to hide it at this point.

@@ShawnRice-xe2xo You also have to consider his competition in each of the finals. Fix is a counterpuncher and sometimes that doesn't work against elite wrestlers. 4 runner ups is nothing to be ashamed of.

Fix was cheated out of the 2019 NCAA title when the ref stopped the match with only seconds left with Fix legged in and riding. Fix will not allow referees to be a factor in any of his matches against Suriano any longer. Fix is just too strong and too fast for Suriano.
Love to see the respect from both of these guys after the match with so much history battling each other and sooo much on the line at this level. --Too bad JB doesnt carry himself similar.

Nick is a amazing wrestler but to me he has way to much personal stuff going on, that’s not normal 3 college teams in your career, he goes to the best college team ever assembled and he transfers out um ok? He’s become to unreliable and I think it shows in his wrestling, no coach has had the time it takes to really develop what he needs to get to that next level, again he’s amazing but when he’s wrestling other amazing wrestlers he just can’t or hasn’t been able to make that jump, and I think he is wrestling or training at cal poly not to take from cal poly but who the heck is at cal poly that can help nick advance his wrestling,
51yrs been wrestling since I was 8 the rules in freestyle and college makes it boring. Folk style wrestling is so much better let them wrestle not just stall.
They both don’t look to put it in guys. I mean if you would have told me we’d be here after watching these guys in high school I would have never believed it. Just two extremely boring guys to watch

His style has always been Folk Style. Daton, Vito, and Spencer are the guys who have better styles in freestyle.

i know it’s so dumb, like yeah you can be in a crazy dominant position but if the ref feels like it’s been to long it can just be reset
