I love Arcade Fire, but I just don’t know how to react with them being on Ellen. An indie rock band possibly becoming main stream doesn’t sit well with me. So long as they don’t pull a Coldplay and bring EDM or pop artists on their songs, AF and I can still be friends . Lol
henry they've been "mainstream" for a long time although they still identify as indie. Everything they do goes number one and they fill hockey arenas..doesn't mean they're any less great! They paid their dues and if they want to play to commercial audiences, dress well and travel in a plane rather than jammed into a van they've earned the right. Even us old guys are fans-- I'm 64 and have seen them live 3 times and have all their recordings.
