In the old character visual, Kanade was seen sitting on a chair, emotionally frozen. When I first saw her in the new visual, I thought Kanade was actually wearing a hidden smile, and every time I see her in the new visual, I can't help but think that's actually true.
I like the unifiedness of the outfits but they still have parts that reference their old clothes Leo/need still has the stripes on the outfits and the red and white striped ties/bows MMJ has the clover accessories, colored button vest, and colors on the plaid skirt VBS has their words like Angel for Kohane and Diamond for Toya on their outfits WxS still gives off their old colors like Tsukasa has gold and blue and Nene's has her greens and pinks and Nightcord has flower motifs that reference old events like Mafuyu's which looks similar to the flowers from "Guiding a lost child to what lies beyond" event Here are the characters who I think now have better outfits than the old ones. For Leo/Need - Shiho. I did not like those green flappy things near her neck and the color of the outfit in general, darker green (as shown in this new outfit) suits her much better. For MMJ - I think all of them looked good in both designs but if I had to pick one it would be Haruka i guess, maybe I just don't like her haircut as much as other short haired girls in this game. For VBS - Akito. His old outfit just looked odd, it looked like he had on three sweatshirts and it made him look so poofy. This one looks much better, black and orange I have learned always are a good choice. For WxS - Rui. I think we all know why, I refuse to believe Mizuki would make an outfit like that...and I saw so many people say that they love Rui but hate his outfit and I honestly agree. Purple and yellow don't work well together in my opinion. Only occasionally I see it work, and it failed on his old outfit. This new one definley is a better change for my eyes. For Nightcord - Kanade. Her outfit wasn't necessarily bad, but it made her look fat and like she wasn't wearing any shorts or pants. I also have seen Kanade in dresses, she looks better in them anyway. ___ My favorite new redesigns in order best to worst: L/N - Honami, Shiho, Ichika, Saki (I just don't think yellow and black are that great, not much fan of that but she isn't terrible. I just think red/black, blue/black, and dark green/black are better looking than yellow/black.) MMJ - Shizuku, Minori, Airi, Haruka (Here's just looks like Shizuku's but shorter, it's better than the old outfit tho) VBS - An, Kohane, Akito, Toya (He still looks good tho, none of VBS looks bad. Except VBS Miku) WxS - Nene, Emu, Rui, Tsukasa (I like Tsukasa's old outfit better, I like the light blue better than dark blue) Nightcord - Mizuki, Mafuyu, Ena, Kanade (I like it better than the old one but not that interesting compared to the other girls) Best Miku's in order best to worst. 1. MMJ Miku (She looks like a stage goddess and I AM HERE FOR IT!!!!) 2. WxS Miku (Huge upgrade, less fuzzy things but still colorful and fun!) 3. Nightcord Miku (She is sorta in the middle cus her style didn't change much but I like she has Kanade's chair now) 4. Leo/Need Miku (Kinda simple but not bad) 5. VBS Miku (Her old outfit was better)
ichikas new outfit got rid of the suspender so it is now horrifically more obvious in 3d mvs she does not have a guitar strap and it is in fact just floating there

EN/Global version is always one year behind. So for instance right now we're getting the 2nd JP anniversary banner while JP is getting the 3rd. Next year around this time we'll be getting the 3rd and JP will get the 4th anniversary.
