1. 「1」 (literally one of my favorite songs in the whole game, the best Shiho commission by a landslide, Teratera does not compare)
2. Flyway (it’s so breathtaking and I’m not the biggest fan of rock in the first place, so…)
3. Roki (battle of mid 😑 but Roki does have that cool Ichika growl in the CD version, so yeah)
4. Ikanaide (I don’t like Deep Sea Lily very much, actually… Ikanaide is so much nicer and calmer)
5. More! Jump! More! (the one NayutalieN song I really love in this game, honestly, but it’s so fun to jump to the beat and scare everyone who’s near me lol)
6. If (I love Momoiro no Kagi, but I’ll be honest… If is just more in-line with my music taste)
7. Milk Crown on Sonechka (Marshmary is whatever, but Milk Crown is everything, with both covers and the Sekai version, everything is so good)
8. Shoujo Rei (easiest choice of my life, even if Romeo and Cinderella does have the really gay 3DMV moment, Shoujo Rei is so much better as a cover)
9. Beyond the Way (I can’t stand Ready Steady, it’s too harsh on my ears. Beyond the Way can be harsh at times, but it’s mostly a bop)
10. Utsuro wo Aogu (something about Mirai kind of pisses me off. I think Utsuro wo Aogu is smooth and cool and nice)
11. Traffic Jam (I don’t like Ame to Petra that much as a song, it’s just kind of boring)
12. Aun no Beats (Fragile hasn’t aged the best, like… at all. Also I don’t like the effects on the boys’ voices in Fragile)
13. Tondemo Wonders (Niccori is fun, but Tondemo is just better as a song, which I tend to value more than the fun-ness of the song)
14. Showtime Ruler (Potato has such a cool MV, but it’s like the one Neru song I don’t care for at all lol. Showtime Ruler is… whatever.)
15. Telecaster B-Boy (no one feels out of balance in Telecaster B-Boy, whereas in As You Like It, the girls (mainly Emu) can seem too loud and drown out the boys’ vocals. It’s high-energy for sure, but it also sometimes really irritates me)
16. Childish War (no contest; Nenekasa is a better duet duo than Emurui. Also, I don’t get the complaints of “too much of the Kagamines” in Childish War; they seem perfectly in balance to me)
17. IDSMILE (I like Toa’s style better, and it has this really cute boutique music sound to it that I just love and it fits Mizuki. I Nandesu is really catchy, but I’ll always love IDSMILE more)
18. Samsa (I don’t like the Sekai version of Lower. I’m perfectly content with a) the Ena cover, or b) the Mafumafu x Fuwa Minato cover. I think Samsa sounds way better in Sekai version and in VS version… but I will miss the Hermit set, I guess)
19. Villain (I don’t like how the voices mix in MKDR, and while I’m kind of iffy on them in Villain, I’d say Villain benefits a lot from not having Miku or some other Vocaloid singing alongside Mafumizu)
20. Non-breath Oblige (look. Niigo Phony is really, really good. But Phony covers are a dime a dozen, and at least some of them are on par with Niigo Phony, if not better. I can sing Phony pretty decently myself. But you don’t get as many good Non-breath Oblige covers, and Niigo absolutely blows most of their competition out of the water with their cover. Also, Miku’s pretty decent in Non-breath Oblige, so there’s that too)

Easier than i anticipated considering i love a lot of songs. The ones i had a "hard" time with were the ones i felt extremely neutral towards both songs.

Just got this recommended to me 🥰🥰
Putting Idsmile (a song about my favorite character) against I am You was painful. I ultimately have to go with I Nandesu, since it's one of my favorite N25 songs overall, but damn. The Beyond the Way and Niccori ^^ Survey Team parts were tough, but picking those two choices were at least semi-obvious. At least songs like Telecaster B Boy, Phony and Villain were able to be saved without much further thought.

I really like both, but in terms of just the overall feel I prefer Idsmile!!! That’s not to say that I nandesu is bad, I really like it as well, especially the cards! I just prefer Idsmile because of the vibes!!
Lower:
Samsa and Lower were hard to pick from, but I just chose Lower since I really liked the bridge and the cards (not to say that the other cards weren’t good as well)
DSCF:
I heard Miyashita Yuu’s version with Villain and I’ve never been the same!! But DSCF is just a really funky song and one that I’d listen to daily!!! I can’t necessarily say the same about Villain, but they’re both good!!!
