Seeing the sun come up on a brisk morning, getting rained on while glassing a hillside, hearing your hunting partner whispering details as you settle in the crosshairs on your lifetime trophy. Great video and even greater optics. What a dream hunt to go on. I couldn't even imagine how physically challenging this hunt was. I would be shaking like a leaf trying to hold steady.
I drew an Oregon bighorn tag in 2022 and was successful in harvesting a great ram, ironically it was the 25th season using my Weatherby Mk5 Accumark outfitted with a Leupold Vari X 3 4.5-14x50 scope. Great video and congratulations on not only drawing a coveted tag but notching it with a great ram and a memorable hunt to last a lifetime.
What an experience. Having that support system that is so willing to go out there with you and share knowledge. I never had anyone to show me how to hunt when I was a kid, but have made friends in the military that help develop these skills and would be there at the job of a hat as well. Good times, better friends.

I live in oregon and have never hunted the SE corner of Oregon. Heard lots of stories of giants in the steens. Great to see a video of a once in a lifetime hunt down there. I buy a tag for the NE ram units every yr. Awesome to see the local hunting community help a fellow hunter. Great video.

Well, that hunting documentary was very well done. It was so good, I had to watch it twice. Tim and the whole crew really did what it takes to fill the tag on a beautiful beast. It reminded me of my once in a lifetime tag draw of a Pennsylvania Elk. Those are terrific rollercoasters of emotions to experience & the memories of everyone pitching in to assist really do last a lifetime. Congratulations to Tim & every hunter whoever put in the work to make a great hunting harvest!! The hunt starts with the tag in the pocket but the real joy is in the time spent with great people in beautiful places… sure do miss hunting with my dad and grandfather. Each time I am wandering the hills with a gun in my hand and tag in my pocket I am thankful for the memories and true life lessons learned.
Way cool to see the support team for the hunt. I had a couple of good guys help me last year on my first ever hunt and I harvested my first elk. I was a complete greenhorn and I couldn't have done it without them and that will stick with me more than harvesting an animal.

I think on a literal once in a lifetime hunt youd actually want it to go that way. If he woulda just tipped over and the hunt us over wouldn't nearly have been as much fun and memorable. Good stuff, used to see bighorn sheep on the arkansas river in colorado when I was a river guide 25 years ago. One afternoon paddle i hot within 3 feet of one drinking from the rover. Super big animals up close. Love that country, leupold hear is awesome. Vr6 is a dream.

Well, that hunting documentary was very well done. It was so good, I had to watch it twice. Tim and the whole crew really did what it takes to fill the tag on a beautiful beast. It reminded me of my once in a lifetime tag draw of a Pennsylvania Elk. Those are terrific rollercoasters of emotions to experience & the memories of everyone pitching in to assist really do last a lifetime. Congratulations to Tim & every hunter whoever put in the work to make a great hunting harvest!! Awesome film! I couldn't imagine the feeling of drawing an Oregon sheep tag let alone the feeling of waiting between shots. Definitely shows the highs and lows of these very limited tags.

Amazing hunt! I’ve read the sheep hunts of Jack O’Connor and this hunt really puts into perspective the toughness of the mountain sheep hunter. Looks like a great group, guide, and a really gorgeous ram! That’s a lifetime dream hunt for me as well. Good job Leupold Optics!

The hunt starts with the tag in the pocket but the real joy is in the time spent with great people in beautiful places… sure do miss hunting with my dad and grandfather. Each time I am wandering the hills with a gun in my hand and tag in my pocket I am thankful for the memories and true life lessons learned.

Way cool to see the support team for the hunt. I had a couple of good guys help me last year on my first ever hunt and I harvested my first elk. I was a complete greenhorn and I couldn't have done it without them and that will stick with me more than harvesting an animal.

Goosebumps. That's what its all about right there. Its the prep, pursuit, making the shot, the trophy and meat, and the comradery with new or existing friends!
I think on a literal once in a lifetime hunt youd actually want it to go that way. If he woulda just tipped over and the hunt us over wouldn't nearly have been as much fun and memorable. The fact you had to sneak over and put another one in him, using that beautiful Leupold scope, makes it more memorable. What a hunt!!!🤘🤘🇺🇸🇺🇸

Great film. It felt like I was there. Love the VX-6HD 3-18. Have 2 44mm and 2 50mm scopes. By far my favorite Leupold scope!
A sheep hunt is another one of those dream hunts I’d love to make happen. This scope would be ideal for such a hunt. Good way to keep things light.
Good stuff, used to see bighorn sheep on the arkansas river in colorado when I was a river guide 25 years ago. One afternoon paddle i hot within 3 feet of one drinking from the rover. Super big animals up close. Love that country, leupold hear is awesome. Vr6 is a dream.
