Shantha Kumar • Ji, Dr.Rajkumar ji was an outstanding actor par excellence and a great classically trained playback singer and a compassionate human being too. Only fools and biased persons will leave negative remarks about the unparalleled legend. I am not from Karnataka. I happened to see Dr.Rajkumar ji's films in 1979 when I was on tour to Karnataka and since then I have become a great fan of Dr.Rajkumar ji . I can say with conviction that he is one of the best method actors in the world. A strike rate of 96% at the box office is simply amazing. Dr.Rajkumar ji chose his roles very carefully and portraid different characters in film after film thereby avoided falling into an image trap. It is next to impossible for anyone to match the huge repertoire of characters he has played in his career span of over five decades.

Dr. Raj has taken many movies to great status with his acting skills alone when there was little support from supporting artists like Dhruva Thaare, Jwaalamukhi, Nanobba Kalla, Havina Hede, Ravichandra, and etc. These movies had a theatrical run of 100 Days just on basis of Dr. Rajkumar's Incredible Acting Skills! Those Days 100 Days was a Super Hit Movie. Just saying. Sakshatkara is a fabulous movie, somehow it did not work commercially in the Box Office but many critics put it in their Favourite Movie Lists.

Dr. Raj single handedly made that 100 Day Hit. Huliya Haalina Mevu was hyped to be a Flop Movie by Dr. Raj haters and vested interests. That's when the producer released the official footfalls in local newspaper. In three weeks, that movie had sold around 30 Lakh Tickets from just three cities which are Bangalore, Mysore and Mangalore. Today many Blockbuster movies overall footfalls will be 30 Lakhs. Huliya Haalina Mevu was also a movie where Dr. Raj gave a single handed performance. Shabdavedhi is another example where he gave a 25 Week Movie Single Handedly with no support from technical teams also WOM for Shabdavedhi was average. But Dr. Raj's incredible acting skills took it to Blockbuster Status.

It also had good music as always with Raj movies. Huliya halina mevu was a great movie with one of the best songs. Since it had tragic end people did not like to watch. @@subramanyakrishnarao1398 Good Analysis. Songs were good in Nanobba Kalla especially Araluthide Moha. Huliya Haalina Mevu was a nice movie but yes the Tragic Ending did not suit the Script hence lot were disappointed due to that. But it was not a Flop Movie. The official footfalls were released in newspaper which I told in the previous comment. But Nanobba Kalla's main attraction is Dr. Raj's acting yes the Songs are Good but I felt some sequences were not that great. Although that fight sequence between Dr. Raj and Vajramuni in the hotel room was marvellous. And who can forget that comedy scene where Dr. Raj as himself is giving a speech about Thayige Thakka Maga's Success when Gopi (Dr. Raj) enters and runs where people are chasing him. That scene is hilarious. Actually after the success of Bangaarada Manushya which in my opinion is a Once in a Lifetime Masterpiece, people did not like to see Dr. Rajkumar in a negative role.
Jamuna is from Hampi, Karnataka. She only has said in a Telugu T V interview that people used to call her "Hampi Sundari" in her childhood. Even Sahukar Janaki and Krishnakumari are from Kannada family.

@@vashistabhatkainthaje639 nanobba kalla has Raj mano action in the end for ten minutes. That was the highlight of the movie and people watched the movie few times for that. It also had good music as always with Raj movies.
Huliya halina mevu was a great movie with one of the best songs. Since it had tragic end people did not like to watch. Otherwise it was well accepted.
@@subramanyakrishnarao1398 Good Analysis. Songs were good in Nanobba Kalla especially Araluthide Moha. Huliya Haalina Mevu was a nice movie but yes the Tragic Ending did not suit the Script hence lot were disappointed due to that. But it was not a Flop Movie. The official footfalls were released in newspaper which I told in the previous comment. But Nanobba Kalla's main attraction is Dr. Raj's acting yes the Songs are Good but I felt some sequences were not that great. Although that fight sequence between Dr. Raj and Vajramuni in the hotel room was marvellous. And who can forget that comedy scene where Dr. Raj as himself is giving a speech about Thayige Thakka Maga's Success when Gopi (Dr. Raj) enters and runs where people are chasing him. That scene is hilarious. Actually after the success of Bangaarada Manushya which in my opinion is a Once in a Lifetime Masterpiece, people did not like to see Dr. Rajkumar in a negative role.

Jamuna is from Hampi, Karnataka. She only has said in a Telugu T V interview that people used to call her "Hampi Sundari" in her childhood.
