Love all your fabrics Tamlyn, especially the cottons for Taylor. Love all the leggings you made for him too. Couldn’t agree with you more about woven interfacing, I love the stuff! Love your mention of the fabulous Sam. Congratulations on 12K 🎉❤
The bucket hat for Sam is absolutely adorable, especially made from his shirt. The trousers for Taylor are so cute. Love, love, love all the fabrics you have purchased and can't wait to see them made up. Your top is so pretty and you wear it well.
I have started my own sewing social in my neighborhood in Portland, Oregon. We just had the first meeting of three. Next time will be 6. I am really having fun with this and thank you for the idea.
Wowzers Tamlyn! Thank you so much for that wonderful shout out! It’s was so lovely to meet you ❤⭐️ Totally agree on the woven interfacing- game changer Fabulous blog as always ❤
One thing I love about the TH-cam sewing group is that once you join the family you are immediately christened “The Lovely” for your first name! Sending much love from the other side of the pond: The Lovely Farmwife/Brenda. ❤️
@@SewnontheTyne I think it’s wonderful, think about it, how many times in a lifetime does a person get to experience the honor of being titled “The Lovely”? We all need more of that sort of recognition. In this world it seems too many of us are dismissed as being ordinary, plain, boring people even as we strive to be recognized as worthy in some way or other. ❤️
That top looks fantastic on you, I don’t care if you don’t like the sew up plans… make them - millions of them…. You rock them hahaha. Love the sea creature fabric… loving the tie dye viscose oh the pirate fabric would make a cute shirt and bucket hat… totally enjoyed your vlog today… ❤❤
Wow, some amazing fabrics you have bought, can’t say which is my favourite as I love all the colour wave you like. Look forward to seeing whatever you will be doing on your pattern review.😊
Lovely fabrics. Once you’ve found a good woven interfacing you never go back🤣 I couldn’t believe the difference the first time I used it. Stone fabrics in Totnes do a whole range of great ones but I always end up getting the same one
Amazing content as usual Tamlyn 🙏👌😁. Gorgeous fabrics which I'm ruling over 😍. Your shirt is so lovely and I'm tempted to buy this pattern. I've just purchased the Haralson Belt Bag myself and can't wait to get going on it 😁. Now I've seen the one from Blackbird.. I'm tempted with that one too 😜👍💖😘
Selfmade (former Stoff and stil) have a nice woven interfacing, i always use it in shirts, works for drapey viscose for collars amd plackets, and of course heavier fabrics too.
Can you please tell where I can that you mention about the print with pineapple, tiger it on a black background. That is so beautiful. I’m in the Unite States. Thank you
Is there a manufacturer or name along the salvage? I live in the US and would like to see if I can find it over here but without any details I don’t know where to start. Thanks
It can be. I like to cut mine using a rotary cutter, on a cutting mat, with plenty of pattern weights. When sewing, I use a fine needle or a Microtex needle, I pin lots and I take my time. You can also use Spray Starch to give it more stability, although I haven't tried that yet x
The pirate fabric would make the cutest sunset shirt 😍

Lots of lovely fabric and your little boy is adorable. 🍓🧶🌈💙

Pretty blouse, I like things worn open with a top under like that. ☺
Colorful fabrics! My favorites…😊
It looks like "Touch ofGold" interfacing. Love it.
Great video Tamlyn. Some beautiful fabrics. Can’t wait to see all your makes. 💕💕

Awww thanks for the mention Tamlyn, lovely to meet you at Cropredy!
Loving the B&M haul!
The Malibu shirt is great, I think it would also look great over a plain dress, perhaps a navy slip dress 🤔😍 xx
Ooh yes! Perfect combination - thank you x

I saw Fairport Convention at Knebworth in 1979 along with Led Zeppelin! I know the lineup has changed several times since then though.

Haha I know, I think that every time I hear it or say it, yet it just seems to come out automatically 🤣

Ah that's good to know, thank you x
Blackbird patterns actually released a wrap top before the bag, which is also super cute.
Oh I must have missed that one! I’ll have a look
Gosh, maybe I'm misremembering, but I was sure I saw a wrap top pattern, but on BF patterns website I don't see it at all anymore!@@SewnontheTyne
Oh my, that sealife cotton is stunning! I would wear that myself!
Right?! It's beautiful! x

I know right? So beautiful!
I really like the fabric of the cute blouse you're wearing. I guess First for Fabrics doesn't ship across the pond?😊
Not yet but that may hopefully be changing soon 🤞🏼
💖
Thank you x
Can you please tell where I can that you mention about the print with pineapple, tiger it on a black background. That is so beautiful. I’m in the Unite States. Thank you
Hi, It's gorgeous isn't it? It's from Rainbow Fabrics - I think they ship worldwide. But I think that fabric may be sold out now x
Is there a manufacturer or name along the salvage? I live in the US and would like to see if I can find it over here but without any details I don’t know where to start. Thanks
Thank you for the video. Which pattern did you use for the bucket hat? I would like to make my nephews one😀
It's the Waves & Wild Sandcastle Bucket Hat - it's a fabulous free pattern x
Any tips on the bucket hat please.
Is there a particular step that you're struggling with?
What to use to stiffen the brim and the football shirt I'm using for a bucket hat is extra stretchy
Do you have any preferred suppliers for the cotton spandex 🙂
My favourite is Stof of Denmark - the quality is SO high. We stock a lot of them at 1st For Fabrics
Hi...missing your vlogs ! Hope you ok? xXx👍👍👍
Is viscose hard to cut out and sew with?
