I would. On the bank it never hurts to get more distance when you cast. With a boat you can pretty much always get right up to where you need to be. And some of us don’t have daddy’s money to buy a boat and trailer. Or some of us think it ain’t worthwhile to get the boat at all since dc reels can get the extra distance we need. Imagine only having half a brain

Companies pitching their expensive reels casting farther is snake oil. Only things that control cast distance is line type and diameter, lure weight, and the fisherman’s cast. And obviously those along with the brake and cast control settings on your reel. Thanks for showing off your actual half brain

Steelheaders know that it takes good equipment to be successful from the bank. We're also crazy enough about fishing to pay a lot of money to do it.
