Also, have you tried switching up your brand and number style to see if that mixes things up and solves the problem on its own? Oftentimes there are bugs that were present early on that are corrected but only if you start a new team from scratch. If it's still bugged no matter what state you choose you're in Alabama, and you also still have the Clemson tiger randomly showing up. Maybe it got patch but I dont know.
My Team was based in California so when I replaced it with San Jose state I noticed the second year around I was now in San Jose, CA… but yes Year 1 was in Bama. Try replacing a sorry team near your geographical location to help.
Team builder in 2014 was legit. If I remember right I was able to create and upload my entire high school conference to Road to Glory, I haven't played Road to Glory in 25, but in 2014 you played like an 8 game senior season of high school. It was cool playing those seasons against my actual high school conference. It'd be cool to do that again.
Yessss that’s one thing I really miss from RTG is the HS season and being able to add in custom teams to RTG. I’ve seen people adding their HS as a college to dynasty but it hits different when it’s an actual HS team that you get to use the design for. It adds an extra dimension that I think is lacking slightly in 25 despite the fact that I do genuinely love 25 so far… I think we’re just so happy to have CFB back we’re kinda overlooking some of these small things that EA seemed to either miss or just blatantly ignore 👊🏻👊🏻👊🏻

As a designer (one that works for one of the schools in this game lol) that grew up playing every version of this game since 2003 this site has been a frustrating experience as you have heard from many. Some wish list items that would be great for them to consider are: - Increase the limit of files you can upload (2k has unlimited I believe) or keep it to 10 files but per asset so that you could remove and add different files for the different portions of the team (10 for each uniform, 10 for the field etc) - The ability to change colors of files across all placements (you can do so on certain elements like the helmet bumpers) - MORE pant stripe, jersey font number, overall jersey design, and most importantly, SOCK options. I know they're going brand supplier specific, but they clearly only included a small percentage of each brands font book / design catalog, and imo is so plain that I had to create and upload my own pant stripes / shoulder designs to match what I wanted. And then the socks, not being able to add some sick striped designs or any of the cool ones that are out there is one of the few small but very disappointing missing features. - Better color matching. Colors picked tend to be muted or very different when used as gear or crowd color. - Obviously, some kind of stadium creator or something more in depth (even the ability to swap all signage for every stadium automatically with your teams logos & colors would be an INSTANT upgrade). There's more I am sure I can sit here and think of but then we'd be here for a bit longer lol. I know these are all things you've already heard and seen commented but I think its important for them to at the very least see that these comments are coming in volume and not just one offs from picky players. Immersion is something we've been spoiled by over the last decade in our games and that is what the standard should be. Anyways, great video man keep up the good work.

Since you are talking to someone at EA...(if these have been mentioned, my apologies), things I would like to see: 1. The ability to edit created team player names. 2. Generic stadium / practice facility 3. Ability to practice with your created team 4. Custom head coach for a created team...these are just a few of the things that I think would be great for us that love to create teams and play them in the game.

I feel your pain man it’s kind of half and half for me but these are some methods that have helped for sure! I’m actually working on some designs for the community that I have to go back and restart from scratch because I got the one error that I cannot fix with a few of them… the ever so devastating “Unknown Error Occurred”. That’s the one error that I have zero solution for right now and it shows it’s ugly head randomly when it feels like it and devastates me after I put in hours sometimes into one design 👊🏻👊🏻👊🏻

Same thing happened to me on my laptop it’s either loading extremely slow or is in an infinite buffer loop. It’s unfortunate cause I really wanted to create a team
The Adobe background eraser is great for uploading images without a white background, and it’s free. As far as stadiums, the Oklahoma state stadium is a good go to. The only obvious identifier is the person that the stadium is named after.
Find logos in PNG format or do the background removal work in Photoshop and export as PNG. Just make sure that the image size meets their specs or it will take forever to upload or you might get an error.
@@thenikonjones facts! Yeah it has to be under 512kb (or I sometimes say half a megabyte because some people aren’t terribly familiar with Kilobytes lol) and it’ll work no problem! I also made a mistake, it seems as though JPEGs are NO LONGER compatible. When they did the initial release JPEG images were able to be uploaded but now they no longer work. Sorry about that bit of misinformation 👊🏻👊🏻👊🏻

Steev, you’re killing it with these videos! Helping everyone succeed with TeamBuilder! I’ve been struggling with my team design, but it hasn’t been due to the issues covered in this video. Turns out it was just issued with size and placement that have been stressing me out. Like you said, trial and error and after about a week of trying to figure out why images on my helmet wouldn’t match in size and placement, I’ve finally been able to get them to match, it just takes time and patience. Also to anyone who doesn’t have Photoshop I highly recommend Photopea, as it’s what I’ve been using for my text images for my field and jerseys. I’m only using Photopea temporarily, because I’ll be getting access to Photoshop and Illustrator once again very soon, but Photopea is an excellent alternative 👊🏻👊🏻👊🏻

Team builder is still working for me at all. Team builder was a fail this year but hope that they can fix it. Next year, they need to let us make our team builder team the week before the game comes out

San Diego state has a good stadium if you’re going a west coast team in Nevada, Arizona, of. Cali maybe Utah. No logos anywhere just the stadium name just the hills mountains and a few palm trees
4:20 for accessories go to the add color choose a preset close you your teams and crank the brightness to damn near black then mess with the saturation to get it to show better
I haven’t tried Team Builder yet, but are the uniforms completely set or can you mix and match uniform options in the game, like if your home uniforms are all black and away uniforms are all white, can you wear the white helmet with the all black unis?
One thing I have found is that even though they give you the option to have turf or grass, whatever the stadium you choose has in it, that's what it will be. I had chosen North Texas' stadium & I chose real grass too but it's actually field turf & not natural grass which is what they have in real life. Pretty bummed about that because I HATE the fake stuff.

I’m on my Mac Pro desktop and it works flawlessly but on my MacBook Pro it has a tendency to reset my entire Finder or just not show any of the options. I’m glad you got it going! 👊🏻👊🏻👊🏻

I’ve tried 7 different browsers. Only one that works for me is Firefox but the unis stay chrome and do not load colors. Also same issue for stadiums. It’s ridiculous. They should’ve left it on the game like the old ones

Great video, Thank you! I have a bunch of logos that I've created in Paint. When I upload these, It seems like that background color is still showing up. Any tips or guidance on fixing that issue?
Oh yes so I’m not as familiar with paint but does the program use layers? Like are you able to place different parts of your images on separate layers so they’re isolated by themselves? If so, you can put your logo on its own layer and the background on its own layer and hide the background layer and export it as a .PNG but when you export be sure to look out for an option that mentions “Alpha Channel”! If there’s a check box or radio button that allows you to enable the alpha channel (which just indicates a transparent background segment) make sure you do so otherwise the program will add in a white background just by default. Fyi~ I actually figured out how to fix it, this is also going to fix team name text limits as well. I don’t know if it’s because it’s in a beta, but if you click on the top of the website, it gives you an option to inspect the page, then if you go to the text box city or team you can edit the HTML from 14 characters to whatever characters you need. This works for any text box that has limited characters.
I’ve tried making a team easily 30 times and it has not worked ONCE. Field is either pitch black or the uniform renders something not even close to what I designed.
I haven’t been able to get any of those to show up at they just not there. Like I can change everything for them. But the helmet,uniforms and field just doesn’t show up

So I haven’t mentioned this (I should’ve) but unfortunately right now the reason it’s like that is because the individual players by default have the option to edit gear so the mismatching is something I’m hoping they’ll correct in the near future because it’s definitely frustrating. It does give all the players the option to use the gear brand for whichever brand you’ve chosen in TeamBuilder, but you’d have to go in one by one and change them which I understand is ridiculous. I will say that with recent teams I’ve made all the branding matches so it may have been fixed or it just might be an intermittent problem but either way good call out on that bro great feedback! 👊🏻👊🏻👊🏻
I’m running into the issue of my stuff not loading.. Like logos,helmets, uniforms, and so on. So I had to pretty much wing it and to my surprise my team actually turned out pretty dang good! Just not my field😂

Still having the 112 error I’ve tired removing a logo on my helmet, trying the home and away uniform then resubmitting it. Tried refreshing and resubmitting. And even tried the brave browser, nothing seems to work for me. I’ve retried 20+ times.

As a last resort I’ve been offering to try to upload the same images for people or have you send me screenshots of what you’re trying to upload to see if I can figure out the issue. sometimes it loads but very rarely. When it does and i get to the logo part and i want to import my custom images it pops up the terms of service thing i try to click agree and nothing happens. I wait for a while nothing happens, i wait more click it again then the site freezes and reloads exiting me out of the team builder and erasing the progress. hopefully team builder can be fully functional when it’s out of beta because i’ve lost hope and it is really disappointing.

I’ve heard that for people using windows Edge is great with TeamBuilder. Also, have you tried creating a different EA account? It could just be a matter of the account being bugged or something. I always get in after a long wait but it doesnt display my customs logos, uniforms, field etc. Ive also tried going on a new team without a custom logo still no displays. I am using edge browser too so idk if you have any thoughts any help would really be appreciated!
Oh dang man so you’ve tried making it from scratch but in game it’s just blank? Have you tried making a completely different login on EA or a different computer if you have access? I’m not sure why but it seems like certain people have very specific issues and I feel trapped because I wish I was actually there to help you to see what the issue is. Try making a new logon and maybe even try Chrome just to shake things up and see if you can get it through trial and error 👊🏻👊🏻👊🏻
Yeah that stuff is there for mostly all the teams stadiums. I think it’s mostly the ones that have the least that are on the list. I did notice the collision pad for Cal with the logo and stuff. Hopefully we get custom stadiums soon! 👊🏻👊🏻👊🏻
Any fix for home field showing up pitch black? Tried loading a random team and still had the issue. Haven’t seen any fixes anywhere and only seems to be an issue for a few people.
Yeah you’re not the first person that’s told me about this issue it seems to be happening to quite a few people! I haven’t been able to recreate it myself despite trying by making a bunch of different teams, but I told someone to remake their team from scratch (I know how much of a pain this is I apologize) and that seems to be the only thing that solves that problem so far. I tried like 5 different uniform options with some killer chrome stuff.. for some reason on the menu screen everything chrome is nearly not see -able at all.. but in game it works. Now if i could get the field to work it'd be awesome.. all that time put in on that site for previews to constantly crash or screen to flash with a t-2000 liquid model instead of uniforms.. 🙄
Yeah I’ve seen this issue from a lot of people I will say the chrome just shows up like that in the menu screen because they have nothing reflective bouncing off it in the 3D space. Hopefully they work out these bugs asap bro 👊🏻👊🏻👊🏻
I figured out that my old teams when I first built when team builder dropped I was editing my team throughout the week and when EA drops a maintenance that team has that “400 error” and still has it now. So be cautious when trying to create a team when an maintenance is about to drop

I get error 400 you mentioned in the bugs section of the video and it won’t upload at all. Been clicking retry for the past hour no luck. Just says an unexpected error occurred. Tried changing uniform no luck.
Ohhhh yes the unexpected error occurred is much different than the Ajax error or the violation of terms error. The unexpected error is like death by TeamBuilder unfortunately. Any time I’ve gotten that I’ve had to restart. I know this is frustrating BUT I can tell you that restarting and making the team from scratch has worked every time I’ve gotten that error. One tip, I’ve noticed that I’ve only gotten that error when I’ve edited my logos and changed things a ton of times but I’m not certain that that’s what caused it. I hope this helps at least a little bit bro 👊🏻👊🏻👊🏻

Sir Steev, this video has been extremely helpful for me. Question for you though. Have you run into the issue when you submit a team, that uniform 5 basically copies and pastes itself onto uniform 3 or 4, or both? I’ve had it happen a lot now, and when I go to edit 3 or 4 to fix them, the change applies to all 3 alternates? It’s very aggravating and I haven’t figured out how to stop it from happening yet. Any advice?
Hey bro! I haven’t run into that issue yet but I’ve heard of people having this type of problem with the alternates occasionally. So far the only solutions that I’ve recommended that seem to work are changing to a different browser like the Edge browser, or uploading the team with 1 alternate then add one at a time until you’ve got all 3 alternates the way they’re supposed to be! @@CodenameSteev I had thought of trying that second solution. I’m going to mark down where all my logos and stuff are so if I have to remake them all, I know right where to put them all. Another person did tell me to switch from Chrome to Edge because it handled Teambuilder better. So I used Edge last time I was on to finish making all the teams. I have them ready to go, just haven’t submitted yet for fear of the issue happening haha.
I am having major issues at stadium, when I click on field surface or sometimes crowd colors my screen blacks out, I submitted my teams and even if I previewed my field my field never showed up on the game it's always black. If someone would help me with some solutions.
This seems to be an issue with TeamBuilder with Madden and CFB it’s so frustrating. What I’ve noticed is that it’s a JavaScript issue causing the editable field to completely disappear from the syntax for some strange reason. I found the problem but haven’t found a solution yet because of course EA’s source code is highly encrypted for obvious reasons and if I even tried I’d probably get banned or something. I’m also not even certain if I’d be able to figure it out it’s honestly been several years since I’ve dove deep into JavaScript. I have been letting them know this is an ongoing problem though hopefully they fix it 👊🏻👊🏻👊🏻

@@shaqattack600 Yeah so they released a patch and part of that patch according to the rep I’m in contact with was a fix for what she called “field not rendering properly in browser” so my understanding was it would be fine but then I immediately saw people having the same exact issue. You do however have to recreate the team from scratch if you made them before the patch and were having that issue you will have to make a team from scratch unfortunately but according to them it should work 👊🏻👊🏻👊🏻
Hey bro! So the Ajax error is one that should be corrected if you repeatedly attempt to upload the team after getting that error. Have you tried using the Edge or Brave browser? Those two browsers typically work much better for TeamBuilder! Let me know I’ll try to help best I can 👊🏻👊🏻👊🏻
For anyone making edits and trying to update in game..... it buggs out and reverts to old builds; if you start a new dynasty it will use your most current teambuilder update
Hey bro! So in my opinion the best way would be to go onto Google images or maybe try Ideogram AI to make an armor image, then bring the image into Photoshop or Photopea and use the pen tool to trace out the general shape. Once you have that just stylize it a bit to your liking, give it some dynamic stroke lines to make it look realistic and make sure you hide the background layer so you have just the alpha channel. Once you have that exported as a png bring it into TB and unlock the proportion lock on the left and resize each axis independently until it sits on the shoulder in a way that looks right. If you need help let me know I can try to make something when I get time! 👊🏻👊🏻👊🏻
If I could just get my compression pants to be the right color I would be happy enough with my team for now. Blackout jerseys with white compression pants/tights is not the look I am going for. Tried the accessory color fix but it still didnt work.

I have to ask since we have the same number font on your jersey, have you encountered any issues with your teams jersey number? I'm asking this because I've noticed that every player with double digit numbers that ends with 1, somehow that 1 would be on top of other numbers.
Yeahhhh that happened to me too it happens if you don’t space the numbers out more in TeamBuilder. I didn’t notice until after I started the dynasty which sucks but yeah that’s the fix is making them wider with the spacing 👊🏻👊🏻👊🏻
So right now the only way is to make a little custom logo that resembles the sticker you want and add several layers to put them on the helmet. I am doing a team for a buddy, and the location that only gives a limited amount of letters for example “Lookout Mountain” only allows me to “Lookout Mountai” with the N missing, however when I go into the sharing game center I can preview other teams and the entire word “Lookout Mountain” is listed as the location. Is there a hidden spot to enter that information?

This happens to me every time. If I create a new alternate, and import from an existing alternate, any changes made to the new alternate automatically transfers to the existing alternate. You must import from either the home or away for every alternate you create.

HELP. After spending hours creating my team, I keep getting the 112 error code saying i need to change the helmets. I've tried multiple web browsers with no luck. I have also just tried submitting a team that i didnt edit at all, just the standard EA uniforms. Tried that same idea in multiple web browsers, Still gives me the same 112 error code about the helmets. Is the teambuilder website down? or just terrible?
Ajax issue is a javascript issue. The browser is a factor when using this tool. Do not use firefox, it is picky about JavaScript. I would use chrome as I have not had any issues with it.
Ajax is in fact a JavaScript issue this is great feedback. I will say I majored on Computer Network Engineering along with Programming and Ajax errors can be server side just as easily as client side, but using a different browser is definitely a good place to start! I haven’t seen any issues with Chrome or Safari either and I’ve heard people on Windows say that Edge works really well also! Good stuff bro 👊🏻👊🏻👊🏻

I’m sorry you’re dealing with that bro but I can say that although it might feel like you’ve tried a lot, when you narrow it down you’ve actually only tried one device truly which is the MacBook. It’s definitely BS that it’s not working on your MacBook but tablets and Chromebooks will never work for TeamBuilder. Some people have gotten lucky with Chromebooks but every time I try a tablet it tells me the browser isn’t supported so for all intents and purposes it’s really just the MacBook that’s a head scratcher. Especially if it’s a newer MacBook like an M1. I know a bunch of Intel Macs are having issues but I’m not entirely sure why when they should work perfectly fine considering it’s a browser based tool. The processor shouldn’t make a big difference in compatibility. Performance perhaps but not compatibility. What’s really BS is how many people in my community have told me they have to go to the damn library computer to make their teams! That’s just insane. I wish EA would get in gear and give us a stable TeamBuilder. I know it doesn’t help any but I do feel for you man and if you would like me to create something for you just hmu in my discord. I’m currently trying to work out an issue that’s preventing my new stuff from showing up in game for the last few weeks but I think it’s corrected now 👊🏻👊🏻👊🏻
@@CodenameSteev Great I want to recreate the wolverines with more jersey combos but it is pointless without the iconic winged helmet! Their is a prototype helmet with the colors reversed that looks amazing. "Maize" helmet blue wings, that they dont use.

When you put city names now it dosent upload properly to the game i had to put abbreviations for the team to be found, i made a phoenix team and had to put UPA instead of just pheonix and it sucks cant use more than 1 team in online dynasty
sometimes it loads in but very rarely but when it does and it tries to upload an image i click agree to the terms of service it doesn’t work even if i click agree nothing happens and then freezes and reloads the page

You can have up to 5 jersey combinations but only 10 custom logos right now. Also, you’re only able to download other users’ teams in-game you can’t download them on the site to be edited unfortunately 👊🏻👊🏻👊🏻
It’ll be much easier on whichever computer has more power. TeamBuilder is a resource hog right now in the beta so I would recommend using the better computer if they’re both Windows. If one is a Mac I’d suggest using that because I have a Mac Pro desktop and it works really well on that! 👊🏻👊🏻👊🏻

Only big issue for me or that disturbed me is that if I choose a stadium for a team that actually located in west coast, but take a stadium located in Florida, when I try to recruit players they think it’s FL that’s near home. And my adhd hates that 😭😂

I've created a team based off the CFL team in Ottawa the Ottawa Redblacks. It's kinda silly you can't pick a team intro... like do it based off the more generic team intros.

Yeahhhh this seems to be a glitch that’s happening to some people I haven’t experienced it yet but a ton of people have dealt with it. I passed it along to the EA rep so hopefully we will have fixes soon! I know that this is likely happening because they probably have code built into the TeamBuilder HTML that allows for a section to choose this but it’s inactive on the actual site at the moment probably because it’s not functioning properly so it’s defaulting to the first team that would be on the list alphabetically which is Alabama. This is just a theory but based on my web design experience it sounds like a reasonable assumption 👊🏻👊🏻👊🏻

Yeah if it ever gets to more than a few minutes on the “Generating blank” or “Uploading Such and Such” screen the best thing is to refresh your browser or restart it completely, save your design and try to submit again. Just rinse and repeat until it works. As long as you don’t get the “Unknown Error Occurred” message (which is death to all designs basically lol) you should be able to just retry a few times and find success! I wish I had a more efficient method for you brother but fingers crossed that EA are working as hard on their game as we are on getting our own damn designs to work 👊🏻👊🏻👊🏻

So the problem I have mid journey is that the images that I am getting are way over 512kb so I use a thing to compress the png and it comes out pixilated. I've got some crazy cool logo concepts I can't use and they look simple enough to be able to upload. Is there a way around that to where I can still have the image high quality? Any other tips for creating logos with mid journey?
So I would say if they’re too large the best way to remedy that would be to import them into a program called Photopea (free online) and reduce the ppi to something around 50-100 (it should be 300 by default). How large are the images that MidJourney is generating out of curiosity? 👊🏻👊🏻👊🏻
@CodenameSteev really it depends... sometimes they come out at like 600 or 700 and sometimes they come out at 1,200. I removed the background w a website I use and it definitely lowers that number but it still comes out looking pixilated on the helmet. I didn't compress it at all. Looks good on the team logo itself but not on the helmet. I'm pretty confused tbh. I have a Blue Mountain State team I made and those look fine bc they are existing pngs I guess. Idk I'm not very computer smart when it comes to this kind of stuff...
I spent 3 hours making a hella cool team and some absolutley fire jerseys, but it just got stuck loading for 15 hours straight, and thats just when I closed it.

If it's still bugged no matter what state you choose you're in Alabama, and you also still have the Clemson tiger randomly showing up. Maybe it got patch but I dont know.
My Team was based in California so when I replaced it with San Jose state I noticed the second year around I was now in San Jose, CA… but yes Year 1 was in Bama. Try replacing a sorry team near your geographical location to help.

Team builder in 2014 was legit. If I remember right I was able to create and upload my entire high school conference to Road to Glory, I haven't played Road to Glory in 25, but in 2014 you played like an 8 game senior season of high school. It was cool playing those seasons against my actual high school conference. It'd be cool to do that again.
Yessss that’s one thing I really miss from RTG is the HS season and being able to add in custom teams to RTG. I’ve seen people adding their HS as a college to dynasty but it hits different when it’s an actual HS team that you get to use the design for. It adds an extra dimension that I think is lacking slightly in 25 despite the fact that I do genuinely love 25 so far… I think we’re just so happy to have CFB back we’re kinda overlooking some of these small things that EA seemed to either miss or just blatantly ignore 👊🏻👊🏻👊🏻

As a designer (one that works for one of the schools in this game lol) that grew up playing every version of this game since 2003 this site has been a frustrating experience as you have heard from many. Some wish list items that would be great for them to consider are:
- Increase the limit of files you can upload (2k has unlimited I believe) or keep it to 10 files but per asset so that you could remove and add different files for the different portions of the team (10 for each uniform, 10 for the field etc)
- The ability to change colors of files across all placements (you can do so on certain elements like the helmet bumpers)
- MORE pant stripe, jersey font number, overall jersey design, and most importantly, SOCK options. I know they're going brand supplier specific, but they clearly only included a small percentage of each brands font book / design catalog, and imo is so plain that I had to create and upload my own pant stripes / shoulder designs to match what I wanted. And then the socks, not being able to add some sick striped designs or any of the cool ones that are out there is one of the few small but very disappointing missing features.
- Better color matching. Colors picked tend to be muted or very different when used as gear or crowd color.
- Obviously, some kind of stadium creator or something more in depth (even the ability to swap all signage for every stadium automatically with your teams logos & colors would be an INSTANT upgrade).
There's more I am sure I can sit here and think of but then we'd be here for a bit longer lol.
I know these are all things you've already heard and seen commented but I think its important for them to at the very least see that these comments are coming in volume and not just one offs from picky players. Immersion is something we've been spoiled by over the last decade in our games and that is what the standard should be.

I feel your pain man it’s kind of half and half for me but these are some methods that have helped for sure! I’m actually working on some designs for the community that I have to go back and restart from scratch because I got the one error that I cannot fix with a few of them… the ever so devastating “Unknown Error Occurred”. That’s the one error that I have zero solution for right now and it shows it’s ugly head randomly when it feels like it and devastates me after I put in hours sometimes into one design 👊🏻👊🏻👊🏻

The Adobe background eraser is great for uploading images without a white background, and it’s free. As far as stadiums, the Oklahoma state stadium is a good go to. The only obvious identifier is the person that the stadium is named after.

Find logos in PNG format or do the background removal work in Photoshop and export as PNG. Just make sure that the image size meets their specs or it will take forever to upload or you might get an error.
@@thenikonjones facts! Yeah it has to be under 512kb (or I sometimes say half a megabyte because some people aren’t terribly familiar with Kilobytes lol) and it’ll work no problem! I also made a mistake, it seems as though JPEGs are NO LONGER compatible. When they did the initial release JPEG images were able to be uploaded but now they no longer work. Sorry about that bit of misinformation 👊🏻👊🏻👊🏻

Steev, you’re killing it with these videos! Helping everyone succeed with TeamBuilder! I’ve been struggling with my team design, but it hasn’t been due to the issues covered in this video. Turns out it was just issued with size and placement that have been stressing me out. Like you said, trial and error and after about a week of trying to figure out why images on my helmet wouldn’t match in size and placement, I’ve finally been able to get them to match, it just takes time and patience. Also to anyone who doesn’t have Photoshop I highly recommend Photopea, as it’s what I’ve been using for my text images for my field and jerseys. I’m only using Photopea temporarily, because I’ll be getting access to Photoshop and Illustrator once again very soon, but Photopea is an excellent alternative 👊🏻👊🏻👊🏻

If you click the last jersey design in the Under Armour it has stripes like UAB does or IMG academy for hs, which you can change the color of.

One thing I have found is that even though they give you the option to have turf or grass, whatever the stadium you choose has in it, that's what it will be. I had chosen North Texas' stadium & I chose real grass too but it's actually field turf & not natural grass which is what they have in real life. Pretty bummed about that because I HATE the fake stuff.

I’ve tried 7 different browsers. Only one that works for me is Firefox but the unis stay chrome and do not load colors. Also same issue for stadiums. It’s ridiculous. They should’ve left it on the game like the old ones

Great video, Thank you! I have a bunch of logos that I've created in Paint. When I upload these, It seems like that background color is still showing up. Any tips or guidance on fixing that issue?
Oh yes so I’m not as familiar with paint but does the program use layers? Like are you able to place different parts of your images on separate layers so they’re isolated by themselves? If so, you can put your logo on its own layer and the background on its own layer and hide the background layer and export it as a .PNG but when you export be sure to look out for an option that mentions “Alpha Channel”! If there’s a check box or radio button that allows you to enable the alpha channel (which just indicates a transparent background segment) make sure you do so otherwise the program will add in a white background just by default. Fyi~ I actually figured out how to fix it, this is also going to fix team name text limits as well. I don’t know if it’s because it’s in a beta, but if you click on the top of the website, it gives you an option to inspect the page, then if you go to the text box city or team you can edit the HTML from 14 characters to whatever characters you need. This works for any text box that has limited characters.

I’ve tried making a team easily 30 times and it has not worked ONCE. Field is either pitch black or the uniform renders something not even close to what I designed.

So I haven’t mentioned this (I should’ve) but unfortunately right now the reason it’s like that is because the individual players by default have the option to edit gear so the mismatching is something I’m hoping they’ll correct in the near future because it’s definitely frustrating. It does give all the players the option to use the gear brand for whichever brand you’ve chosen in TeamBuilder, but you’d have to go in one by one and change them which I understand is ridiculous. I will say that with recent teams I’ve made all the branding matches so it may have been fixed or it just might be an intermittent problem but either way good call out on that bro great feedback! 👊🏻👊🏻👊🏻

Team builder works for me, but it’s just SUPER laggy. Resizing and moving custom layers is really slow.
Still having the 112 error I’ve tired removing a logo on my helmet, trying the home and away uniform then resubmitting it. Tried refreshing and resubmitting. And even tried the brave browser, nothing seems to work for me. I’ve retried 20+ times.

sometimes it loads but very rarely. When it does and i get to the logo part and i want to import my custom images it pops up the terms of service thing i try to click agree and nothing happens. I wait for a while nothing happens, i wait more click it again then the site freezes and reloads exiting me out of the team builder and erasing the progress. hopefully team builder can be fully functional when it’s out of beta because i’ve lost hope and it is really disappointing.

Oh dang man so you’ve tried making it from scratch but in game it’s just blank? Have you tried making a completely different login on EA or a different computer if you have access? I’m not sure why but it seems like certain people have very specific issues and I feel trapped because I wish I was actually there to help you to see what the issue is. Try making a new logon and maybe even try Chrome just to shake things up and see if you can get it through trial and error 👊🏻👊🏻👊🏻
Several of the teams on this list still have their team logo and colors on the padding around the base of the uprights. Includes Cal.
Yeah that stuff is there for mostly all the teams stadiums. I think it’s mostly the ones that have the least that are on the list. I did notice the collision pad for Cal with the logo and stuff. Hopefully we get custom stadiums soon! 👊🏻👊🏻👊🏻

Yeah you’re not the first person that’s told me about this issue it seems to be happening to quite a few people! I haven’t been able to recreate it myself despite trying by making a bunch of different teams, but I told someone to remake their team from scratch (I know how much of a pain this is I apologize) and that seems to be the only thing that solves that problem so far. Keep me posted on things you’re trying and I’m gonna make sure to emphasize this issue in my notes to them 👊🏻👊🏻👊🏻
I get the constant black field as well. It will always revert to “custom” no matter how many times I save as natural turf. Same with the socks.

I tried like 5 different uniform options with some killer chrome stuff.. for some reason on the menu screen everything chrome is nearly not see -able at all.. but in game it works. Now if i could get the field to work it'd be awesome.. all that time put in on that site for previews to constantly crash or screen to flash with a t-2000 liquid model instead of uniforms.. 🙄
Yeah I’ve seen this issue from a lot of people I will say the chrome just shows up like that in the menu screen because they have nothing reflective bouncing off it in the 3D space. Hopefully they work out these bugs asap bro 👊🏻👊🏻👊🏻
I figured out that my old teams when I first built when team builder dropped I was editing my team throughout the week and when EA drops a maintenance that team has that “400 error” and still has it now. So be cautious when trying to create a team when an maintenance is about to drop

I get error 400 you mentioned in the bugs section of the video and it won’t upload at all. Been clicking retry for the past hour no luck. Just says an unexpected error occurred. Tried changing uniform no luck.
Ohhhh yes the unexpected error occurred is much different than the Ajax error or the violation of terms error. The unexpected error is like death by TeamBuilder unfortunately. Any time I’ve gotten that I’ve had to restart. I know this is frustrating BUT I can tell you that restarting and making the team from scratch has worked every time I’ve gotten that error. One tip, I’ve noticed that I’ve only gotten that error when I’ve edited my logos and changed things a ton of times but I’m not certain that that’s what caused it. I hope this helps at least a little bit bro 👊🏻👊🏻👊🏻

Sir Steev, this video has been extremely helpful for me. Question for you though. Have you run into the issue when you submit a team, that uniform 5 basically copies and pastes itself onto uniform 3 or 4, or both? I’ve had it happen a lot now, and when I go to edit 3 or 4 to fix them, the change applies to all 3 alternates? It’s very aggravating and I haven’t figured out how to stop it from happening yet. Any advice?
Hey bro! I haven’t run into that issue yet but I’ve heard of people having this type of problem with the alternates occasionally. So far the only solutions that I’ve recommended that seem to work are changing to a different browser like the Edge browser, or uploading the team with 1 alternate then add one at a time until you’ve got all 3 alternates the way they’re supposed to be! Another person did tell me to switch from Chrome to Edge because it handled Teambuilder better. So I used Edge last time I was on to finish making all the teams. I have them ready to go, just haven’t submitted yet for fear of the issue happening haha.
I am having major issues at stadium, when I click on field surface or sometimes crowd colors my screen blacks out, I submitted my teams and even if I previewed my field my field never showed up on the game it's always black. If someone would help me with some solutions.
This seems to be an issue with TeamBuilder with Madden and CFB it’s so frustrating. What I’ve noticed is that it’s a JavaScript issue causing the editable field to completely disappear from the syntax for some strange reason. I found the problem but haven’t found a solution yet because of course EA’s source code is highly encrypted for obvious reasons and if I even tried I’d probably get banned or something. I’m also not even certain if I’d be able to figure it out it’s honestly been several years since I’ve dove deep into JavaScript. I have been letting them know this is an ongoing problem though hopefully they fix it 👊🏻👊🏻👊🏻

@@shaqattack600 Yeah so they released a patch and part of that patch according to the rep I’m in contact with was a fix for what she called “field not rendering properly in browser” so my understanding was it would be fine but then I immediately saw people having the same exact issue. You do however have to recreate the team from scratch if you made them before the patch and were having that issue you will have to make a team from scratch unfortunately but according to them it should work 👊🏻👊🏻👊🏻

Hey bro! So the Ajax error is one that should be corrected if you repeatedly attempt to upload the team after getting that error. Have you tried using the Edge or Brave browser? Those two browsers typically work much better for TeamBuilder! Let me know I’ll try to help best I can 👊🏻👊🏻👊🏻

If i wanted to add a shoulder design, say a knights armor like a shoulder piece what would be the best way to do that?
Hey bro! So in my opinion the best way would be to go onto Google images or maybe try Ideogram AI to make an armor image, then bring the image into Photoshop or Photopea and use the pen tool to trace out the general shape. Once you have that just stylize it a bit to your liking, give it some dynamic stroke lines to make it look realistic and make sure you hide the background layer so you have just the alpha channel. Once you have that exported as a png bring it into TB and unlock the proportion lock on the left and resize each axis independently until it sits on the shoulder in a way that looks right. If you need help let me know I can try to make something when I get time! 👊🏻👊🏻👊🏻
If I could just get my compression pants to be the right color I would be happy enough with my team for now. Blackout jerseys with white compression pants/tights is not the look I am going for. Tried the accessory color fix but it still didnt work.

I have to ask since we have the same number font on your jersey, have you encountered any issues with your teams jersey number? I'm asking this because I've noticed that every player with double digit numbers that ends with 1, somehow that 1 would be on top of other numbers.
Yeahhhh that happened to me too it happens if you don’t space the numbers out more in TeamBuilder. I didn’t notice until after I started the dynasty which sucks but yeah that’s the fix is making them wider with the spacing 👊🏻👊🏻👊🏻
Do you have any idea if you can do custom helmet stickers like Ohio state and Florida state have?
So right now the only way is to make a little custom logo that resembles the sticker you want and add several layers to put them on the helmet. You could even make a graphic with like 10-12 stickers so you only need one layer in TeamBuilder but I’m with you though this is a feature I really would love to have! 👊🏻👊🏻👊🏻
I am doing a team for a buddy, and the location that only gives a limited amount of letters for example “Lookout Mountain” only allows me to “Lookout Mountai” with the N missing, however when I go into the sharing game center I can preview other teams and the entire word “Lookout Mountain” is listed as the location. Is there a hidden spot to enter that information?

This happens to me every time. If I create a new alternate, and import from an existing alternate, any changes made to the new alternate automatically transfers to the existing alternate. You must import from either the home or away for every alternate you create.

Ajax issue is a javascript issue. The browser is a factor when using this tool. Do not use firefox, it is picky about JavaScript. I would use chrome as I have not had any issues with it.
Ajax is in fact a JavaScript issue this is great feedback. I will say I majored on Computer Network Engineering along with Programming and Ajax errors can be server side just as easily as client side, but using a different browser is definitely a good place to start! I haven’t seen any issues with Chrome or Safari either and I’ve heard people on Windows say that Edge works really well also! Good stuff bro 👊🏻👊🏻👊🏻

"Ajax" back in the day was abused and if implemented wrong it would be a performance nightmare. The other thing killing the free version of this tool are those adds. I’ve tried Chromebook, MacBook, surface tablets, iPads, several different browsers etc… and still I can’t get into team builder. This is bullshit
I’m sorry you’re dealing with that bro but I can say that although it might feel like you’ve tried a lot, when you narrow it down you’ve actually only tried one device truly which is the MacBook. It’s definitely BS that it’s not working on your MacBook but tablets and Chromebooks will never work for TeamBuilder. Some people have gotten lucky with Chromebooks but every time I try a tablet it tells me the browser isn’t supported so for all intents and purposes it’s really just the MacBook that’s a head scratcher. Especially if it’s a newer MacBook like an M1. I know a bunch of Intel Macs are having issues but I’m not entirely sure why when they should work perfectly fine considering it’s a browser based tool. The processor shouldn’t make a big difference in compatibility. Performance perhaps but not compatibility. What’s really BS is how many people in my community have told me they have to go to the damn library computer to make their teams! That’s just insane. I wish EA would get in gear and give us a stable TeamBuilder. I know it doesn’t help any but I do feel for you man and if you would like me to create something for you just hmu in my discord. I’m currently trying to work out an issue that’s preventing my new stuff from showing up in game for the last few weeks but I think it’s corrected now 👊🏻👊🏻👊🏻

When you put city names now it dosent upload properly to the game i had to put abbreviations for the team to be found, i made a phoenix team and had to put UPA instead of just pheonix and it sucks cant use more than 1 team in online dynasty

You can have up to 5 jersey combinations but only 10 custom logos right now. Also, you’re only able to download other users’ teams in-game you can’t download them on the site to be edited unfortunately 👊🏻👊🏻👊🏻

It’ll be much easier on whichever computer has more power. TeamBuilder is a resource hog right now in the beta so I would recommend using the better computer if they’re both Windows. If one is a Mac I’d suggest using that because I have a Mac Pro desktop and it works really well on that! 👊🏻👊🏻👊🏻

@@CodenameSteev yes I did it after I say my helmet logo when working on helmets still no stripes for helmet jerseys pants etc and my field isn’t all black anymore it’s all green now so still not getting field lines etc
for the stripe just h flip it and you can have more control on the size I learned that by accident lol

Do you mean for the brand logo color? I noticed that shows up white no matter what I try but the base and the under sock changes just fine.. are you having issues setting a color for the actual socks themselves? I can try to look into that if so 👊🏻👊🏻👊🏻
Only big issue for me or that disturbed me is that if I choose a stadium for a team that actually located in west coast, but take a stadium located in Florida, when I try to recruit players they think it’s FL that’s near home. And my adhd hates that 😭😂

I've created a team based off the CFL team in Ottawa the Ottawa Redblacks. It's kinda silly you can't pick a team intro... like do it based off the more generic team intros.

Yeahhhh this seems to be a glitch that’s happening to some people I haven’t experienced it yet but a ton of people have dealt with it. I passed it along to the EA rep so hopefully we will have fixes soon! I know that this is likely happening because they probably have code built into the TeamBuilder HTML that allows for a section to choose this but it’s inactive on the actual site at the moment probably because it’s not functioning properly so it’s defaulting to the first team that would be on the list alphabetically which is Alabama. This is just a theory but based on my web design experience it sounds like a reasonable assumption 👊🏻👊🏻👊🏻

Yeah if it ever gets to more than a few minutes on the “Generating blank” or “Uploading Such and Such” screen the best thing is to refresh your browser or restart it completely, save your design and try to submit again. Just rinse and repeat until it works. As long as you don’t get the “Unknown Error Occurred” message (which is death to all designs basically lol) you should be able to just retry a few times and find success! I wish I had a more efficient method for you brother but fingers crossed that EA are working as hard on their game as we are on getting our own damn designs to work 👊🏻👊🏻👊🏻

I bought a laptop SPECIFICALLY for Teambuilder. I can’t see the logos I put in, I can’t see the Uniforms I’m trying to create, nothing ever loads.
That is so frustrating man I’m sorry you’re dealing with that especially considering you got the laptop specifically for TeamBuilder. I can only hope the developers are taking our feedback seriously 👊🏻👊🏻👊🏻

I haven’t come across this one that’s so odd but you’re definitely not the first one to mention that glitch. I’ll definitely pass that along to EA and hit em with the Samuel L in Jurassic Park line “item number 151 on todays glitch list” 😅👊🏻👊🏻👊🏻
So the problem I have mid journey is that the images that I am getting are way over 512kb so I use a thing to compress the png and it comes out pixilated. I've got some crazy cool logo concepts I can't use and they look simple enough to be able to upload. Is there a way around that to where I can still have the image high quality? Any other tips for creating logos with mid journey?
So I would say if they’re too large the best way to remedy that would be to import them into a program called Photopea (free online) and reduce the ppi to something around 50-100 (it should be 300 by default). How large are the images that MidJourney is generating out of curiosity? 👊🏻👊🏻👊🏻
@CodenameSteev really it depends... sometimes they come out at like 600 or 700 and sometimes they come out at 1,200. I removed the background w a website I use and it definitely lowers that number but it still comes out looking pixilated on the helmet. I didn't compress it at all. Looks good on the team logo itself but not on the helmet. I'm pretty confused tbh. I have a Blue Mountain State team I made and those look fine bc they are existing pngs I guess. Idk I'm not very computer smart when it comes to this kind of stuff...
I spent 3 hours making a hella cool team and some absolutley fire jerseys, but it just got stuck loading for 15 hours straight, and thats just when I closed it.
