Could use 1 Witch Enchanter as a Recruiter of the Guard target for when you need the 4th land for coco like on 23:20 (and its a useful creature sometimes considering that affinity is back on the menu)
Another fun combo piece is the Trident from one of the recent sets. Adapt, make the eldrazi token, sac token, Trident puts counter on the brood guy which makes an eldrazi token… rinse and repeat. Turn 3/4 combo win. I faced that today and my opponent used the Scion mana to cast the newes Emrakul to steal my Elf army and get through with the giant brood guy.
@@LegenVD sorry brother. I haven’t slept. It’s Tarrian’s Soulcleaver. I remembered the T. My momma had a stroke and I’m out of it. Thank you for the content. I got wrecked today by that common and the Tarrians equipment. He generated all the spawn he wanted, cast the new Emrakul to steal my elves, and then proceeded to pump it up enough to one shot me. It’s a sick combo.
I like to call this style of deck "Selesnya Ham Sandwitch" as you're running a buncha cards that go infinite with a ham sandwitch, and several ham sandwitches for them to go infinite with.
It's a shame they don't have programmers working for arena or they could make it so that if you repeat a loop 3 times a window should pop up asking how many times you want to repeat it. Then you wouldn't have to click one at a time. And we could see max squirrel tokens instantly instead of taking 5 min.
Wouldn't Guide of Souls be a better choice than Soul Warden? You trade a little lifegain from your opponent's creatures for evasion in form of an Angel
Thank goodness LVD is here to drop another cheap list for the trolls to permanently inhabit my historic queue with! Praise be! I'm only partially joking (this is the worst to play against.)
This is a subjective view of course but this meta is just so stale and dull. You play either ultra fast combos or pray that you draw the disruption you HAVE to add to your deck if it does not have said combos. On the bright side the games are over very fast. Completely puts me off of ever playing this format
It's the problem with eternal formats in general. The insane amount of cards that have been added to the game means that all decks become more and more efficient at doing whatever you want to do.
Yeah eternal formats are kind of shit. Hate my comment all you want but smaller card pools means more interaction and more interesting games. Sure that's just *my* opinion but seeing infinite turn two or three combos is not interesting. If power fantasy is your thing enjoy
@@danielstein8769I mean, I actually find Legacy to be my favorite format for the diversity of interesting and unique strategies it promotes. There are certainly unfair combo decks, but by and large those decks are fragile and beatable, because Legacy’s interaction suite is also premier.
I felt that way before too, as I like to brew and try different decks, and you either have to be fast enough to win on turns 3-4, or have interaction. That said, there is a lot of interaction available and most combos in Historic are creature combos that can be interacted with in a number of ways by most colors. Also, best of 3 helps even more if you are willing to commit more time to matches, since combo decks typically have the edge in game 1, but post sideboard you can bring in more interaction that would be overkill to run maindeck for non-combo decks.
The squirrel flying across the screen xd 16:03
Lol i loved that part tooo
Took me a while to realize that was LVD's edit and not a built-in animation in Arena!!
My favorite mtg TH-camr
Same
There are others? 😂
Same too
*the best
Agreeeee❤
squirrels flying across the screen is lovely
That last match was incredible
Oh boy, even more ways to combo with this deck. At this rate, one day it'll be entirely composed of aggressively costed 2 card combo pieces.
It's probably very naughty me, but line "Rosy turns on Heliod" made me chuckle.
slash fiction when?

What should he remove to accommodate the change?
@@TheEvolver311 A land. Keep in mind that Witch Enchanter is a white land herself, and can come into play untapped by paying 3 life.
Good suggestion!
That finale, wow! As you say, must be karma 😊
love the historic and timeless content!!!
I feel like I'd add one Emrakul to the deck just for the laughs. Infinite eldrazi to cast him and take all your opponent's creatures.

@@AkodoNoEyes Thanks, seems pretty nifty indeed!
Very reminiscent of Heliod Company in Modern! Just needs Walking Ballista Awesome job, Luca!!! 🔥🤘
Historic still the best brewers format on Arena
Wow, that last game, just wow
I love it when commons can combo
now we just need to make it mono colored so the annoying rare lands can be left out... ^^
Playing through it paid off, that was an awesome last game
Seems like for new players, if you want to become a combo player, just filter for cards that say "whenever". 😅
The last match was peak!!
@LegenVD: Why do you rarely use SPACE in these combos to confirm but instead always navigate your mouse cursor to the button?
Accidentally pressing spacebar twice can lead to unwanted outcomes. I'll still use it for tedious loops where speed is of the essence.
Hello I’m an idiot what format is this please? I didn’t hear you mention it in the intro but I was distracted.
Historic. It's also written in the video description.

Arena needs so badly to have a save targets and auto yield function for combo decks to be more playable

No shadowspear to trample though with your giant creature?
Better to rely on creatures that we can tutor for with Chord and Recruiter or that we can hit with Company.

good ol new scurry oak

Why Soul Warden over Essence Warden?
Essence Warden isn't on Arena.

hardened scales timeless brew??
Don’t think you gain much for the archetype in Timeless compared to Historic (or even Explorer). Which new cards are you excited to try in the deck?
Eldrazizard
why no card to sink the infinite mana from eldrazi spawns into
If you find a good one let me know! Walking Ballista sadly isn't on Arena otherwise we could also go infinite with Heliod.
Infinite combos are making Magic: the Gathering less fun, unfortunately.
MTGA struggles with infinite combos.
wizards: Let's add a million infinite combos to the game!

Gond is not present?
Presence of Gond requires different build-around cards like Famished Paladin.
you know, they keep releasing eldrazi in these modern horizons sets and it makes me sad because I wanna play a colorless deck in standard😂
I would have liked to see the opponent concede before combat damage out of respect for your respect for opp's time.
