The musical scene for Touhou is so vastly diverse it deserves its own section in music courses, so many modern hits evolved or originated from Touhou's largely experimental scene that it seriously deserves acknowledgement from the mainstream as the singular source of several trends of modern era, I would say that Touhou and Vocaloid (MMD) are the most influential culture artefacts of the 2010's that defined the entire decade.
It's a sad kind of nostalgia, I think, whenever I listen to Syrufit's music. I spent a lot of my time in college listening to him and his collaborations. His style was so influential during his time in the scene that it seems sad to realize that he so suddenly became inactive. Sorry for my rambles. I really enjoy this mix, and the artists, but I sort of felt like this when over. came on. xx
