Im pretty sure the writers, producers, and actors themselves know that this drama is basically a censored BL. You forget Korea is a very conservative country that has banned MVs(I saw somewhere that a winner MV was banned from playing in public because of Homoerotic connotations) and shows from appearing mainstream if they have BL as the main of the show. That being said, the show obviously portrays them as having sexual and romantic attraction to one another. I mean seriously, the amount of times Yohan just touches Gaon for the heck of it, the way he loves to tease him. Not to mention the fact that their relationship has no actual label on the show. Even though you would call them bros or allies, Gaon never uses Banmal(comfortable way of talking in Korean) on Yohan. His words are always in a respectful manner.

but in fact, even jinyoung already has a guess about the genre. he was confused when they were in photoshoot for poster, when the director said that he need to be closer, he said something like, "do I really need to be this close? the genre is romance right?" since their photoshoot is a bit questionable. and jisung just said something like, "come closer like we were about to kiss" and proceed to touch jinyoung's chin lol😂
JiSung & JinYoung looks like the perfect BL couple, love the pairing more than JiSung & Park Seo Joon CP. Both visually pleasing, one God in Acting and one Talented Singer/Dancer. Pure PERFECTION!!

I never noticed this idol actor before...looks damn good even in simple attire😍 One does not casually watch this drama, but one is "sucked" into it by the powerful, emotional acting of these two hot guys. Truly an epic pairing with awesome chemistry. Despite a love interest from the opposite sex, all the long stares & intensity were just between them! 🔥🔥🔥Well done to Jisung and Jinyoung of Got7!

I was so frustrated the writer was giving us all of the BL vibes in this show and not actually giving us BL show. This could have been such a great BL because most of them are about love and their struggles which I enjoy very much not gonna lie, but with this intense plot in The Devil Judge, that BL would have a *chef's kiss*
I'm pretty sure their relationship is queercoded, the creator has kind of spoken about the connotations of their relationship and it seems everyone involved is pretty "in the know" about it. Korea is rather conservative, they censor a lot, and the drama would have be affected if it were any more overt (as if it could get more lol), most likely. So all the elements are there, I would say it basically already is a BL.

I heard that some scenes were inspired by beauty and the beast. Also it was about Yohan kind of seducing Gaon. Tbh we all know how much tension these two had. Even though Gaon looks like yohan's brother Isaac, he's not Isaac. Having a face so similar to him doesn't make them the same person. People who think this would be insect need to understand this. Gaon is Gaon. Isaac is Isaac. They're different people tho they have same face. Also y'all can't deny that Yohan and Gaon had a lot of sexual tension and affection going on.. everyone could see that and some people still deny that. I rewatched this for 4 times now and the more you watch this drama deeply, the more you understand what's going on. Also about soohyun and Gaon. I don't think Gaon really had romantic feelings towards soohyun. If so, he could have confessed earlier. But why did he do that after leaving the mansion? Cuz he was afraid of losing her. And yes soohyun is gaon's world. Cuz she was the only person he had along with professor min. But soohyun was there for a long time and that's true when he said that soohyun is his world. But y'all can't deny that Yohan and Elijah are also his world. Everyone can see it. If you can't see it, you haven't watched the drama with your eyes open.
