I wanted to show that both of them have power over the other and care deeply for each other (+ the chemistry is off the chart). I see them as equals and I hope my video shows it well!
I struggled a lot to get a result that I liked, but in the end I'm pretty glad with the result!

I've been saying this forever : if the director had decided to add one single kiss in the last scene where Ga On finds out that Yo Han is alive, The Devil Judge would be counted amongst world-class BLs
with eps running for 70mins and the show being marketed to mainstream audiences there are limits to what can be shown without frightening off advertising clients and others. still, this show was very brave in showing what it did.
not so sure what we should think about all the signs of toxic relationship patterns but then again it seems unlikely anyone would try to copy this in RL

I honestly don't care if their relationship is titled BL or bromamce or whatever. Their chemistry is insane and they were unarguably very close, and that's that. I think the series is perfect for letting everyone come to their own conclusion. For me, intense moments often convey so more feelings than a kiss in slow-mo with some romantic music ever could, but that's just me😅 and there were a lot of pretty intense moments, so I'm more than satisfied 😊
However, I do understand that a series like this involving a kiss between male leads would've been huge.

@@ruhanisharma9783 I think I'm not necessarily waiting for a full length Korean BL but for one that tells a bigger story. Similar as to The Sign (Thai BL). I like romances but I just want more. A romance doesn't usually contain a good story, thus I easily get bored and might even drop the show.

throughout the episodes, we see Yohan gradually falling for Gaon, and Gaon being interested, a tad bit obsessed, suspicious and him just downright fighting what he is starting to feel for the man because Yohan had such grey ambiguous morals. In the last episode, we see Gaon - once just dipping his toe into the whirpool of his feelings for Yohan - diving head first into what they had. In the last episode, We see Gaon in love.

I am not sure about Gaon's feelings towards Yohan, because it seems quite ambiguous. But Yohan had fallen for Gaon long ago, probably when he cooked for him and broke down his walls. Yohan looked shaken up by him .

This was a great song for them. I miss them so much! They were powerful together. Their off screen friendship added a deeper chemistry to their onscreen relationship. This is the only show I always say is a BL without being labeled a BL. ;-)

@@fomnlinxchan3112 Yeah, however there is a love interest for Gaon (unlike the untamed which is the only one I have watched in this list) but its quite obvious that he likes Yohan. (There is more to it but i don't want to spoil it for you), nevertheless I would definitely recommend it

This is literally one of the best dramas ever. Like, for fifteen episodes we had them together, on the same boat, but misunderstandings kept them apart. And in sixteen, when the misunderstandings were cleared, they met with each other only to be separated for ever.
I honestly cannot think of anything more heartbreaking.
Fanfic writers, please turn this “for ever” into 2 to 5 years, please

I know he technically likes a girl in here but I swear the writers knew what they were doing, because the way ti was acted out I feel like the two actors got secret scripts and knew they were supposed to be in love. At the end when he thinks that Yohan has died, he is wrecked like a lover distraught over their lost soulmate. It's amazing.

The world is more complicated than family, friends, or lovers. I'm not sure what their relationship is but it has impressed me so much how their relation develops, how they change each other, learn each other, test each other. How they are rationality and boundary to each other (sometimes the one that need be overstepped). How they chose each other.
The actors should be honored with the best awards.
Please this drama was definitely a BL...they were just too shy to let the audience know. I've watched this drama more than once, so in love with it. Was wishing there would be a second season, I need Yohan to return please.

This is definitely the best TDJ edit i've ever seen. From the music and the way the scenes were put together, everything was perfect.
I don't know if it was just me but that part of the scene where Gaon says "I will go with you" felt almost like a confession. The way he said it and his expression and the way Yohan reacted as well just made it seem like there was so much more to it. Also at 2:14 he was smiling and had tears in his eyes. He looks like he finally understood what he is to Gaon.

Devil Judge is a bl series but they didn't show it explicitly and i so want it's second season with them kissing. I want it so bad. This is such an amazing series. I loved it so so so much.

I just love when Jinyoung is acting, he seems a totally different person. Also, him, along with Kyungsoo, are the are the great actors of their groups, also similar in personality and adorable to many nonetheless

The writers and the actors fully understood the chemistry and the tension between these two hello? Like the matching tux, the random throat grabs, the literal portrayal of a happy married couple with their annoying teenage daughter, the sextuple tension between them that you could live cut with a knife? I have watched this edit before watching the drama ; by last of 2021 and I watched the drama in the beginning of 2022 now its more than a year since I watched this drama but till day I am somehow coming back not only because of jisung or jinyoung but for Kang yohan and Kim gaon. Beautiful edit! What they shared on screen was amazing, their chemistry was awesome the whole show. In my opinion they did fall in love, not the romantic kind of love, but the kind of love that goes beyond. They care for each other, understand each other, and this last scene where they communicate only with their eyes and you can see all the love and care they have for each other, it is just amazing to watch.

There's some great acting and cinematography in this series; you chose some great moments. Often in FMVs shots are used out of context and the original meaning is twisted, but you didn't really do that. I like the sincerity.
I like how you kind of had the first verse from Kang Yohan's perspective and the second verse from Kim Gaon's perspective. And you created a really nice narrative/tension arc which also matched well with the music. And the spoken lines were well chosen and well timed with the music.

Okay. Just. It's amazing how you built up the tension with the cumulation in Kang Yohan's line at the end of the first chorus and then took the tension back with those quick shots with lighter moods and their smiles and the laughing sound, leading perfectly into the second verse.

It’s my thought that since the first time they met, you could see the way they look at each other and shook hands, was like something at first sight mostly for Yohan. I noticed that imperceptible I like you throughout the series. The ending was kind of sad, but it really shows the way they feel for each other, it was so beautiful.😆😙
