to anyone scared to mess up their controller, you arent going to mess it up 😂😂, i literally dropped it on the floor while putting in buttons, and it didnt break
hey I’m 14 turning 15 on 20th march and I want to say thank you so much I replaced all my buttons to matt black and it wasn’t very hard to do but it did get complicated sometimes it took me 1 hour and 52 minutes and I had so much fun doing this. Thanks again :)
Hey man. Just a little trick I figured out with auto focus cameras. If you put your other hand behind what you're showing it'll focus up faster. Then a little movement on the piece will tell the software that is the primary focus point and it'll snap to it. Cheers
I used this video as a guide for me to swap out my controller shells, worked like a charm! One quick tip for everyone. The T8 screws have a pin in the middle, so you’ll need a bit with a slot for that pin.
Thanks for the vid. My buddy's 20th Anniversary Halo Infinite controller died and this helped me transfer the shell and buttons to a working controller. Thanks again.
Will update when I try this(: it’ll be my first time opening a controller, thank you! This has made the process seem a lot less scary and I’m using the same color scheme(;
Thank you so much for uploading this video. It's really helped me to sort out my controller which was kind of delapidated. So I've done a full custom upgrade with buttons, sticks, triggers and shell. Thank you very much😊😊😊
Great tutorial! My tip to folks as well, you don't HAVE to remove the rumble motors to access the second panel. I was able to work around the first panel just fine. I just know i had trouble putting em back in place, and when i had to correct my silly buttons, i did NOT wanna remove those rumble motors again xD but i also have small woman hands, so I'm sure that helped.
Hey Marc, we actually recently tested this per your question and they do not. They fit fine, but when you put the controller back together the "x" button sits too low on the controller. You could get away with it but it just doesn't fit exactly the same way. Hope this helps!
Thanks to this tutorial I’m having to buy a new controller. A little metal piece that you don’t show or mention in the video fell out, I have no idea what it is or where to put it I’ve tried looking at other videos, I’ve tried looking at diagrams, I have tried absolutely everything, I’ve even asked on Facebook and reddit! Now my Xbox remote is now totally useless 😁! Thanks !
For anyone struggling with the left antenna... Sometimes it's keyed, so either crack out a magnifying glass/microscope, or just push it around until it clicks in place.
another thing to watch out for is, when tightening the green board over the buttons, dont fasten it hard, only do it enough to keep it in place, dont tighten till you cant anymore
The process is almost identical, we have an older video for customizing the Xbox One S specifically. It's an older video, but here is the link: th-cam.com/video/sOIx3aluVLQ/w-d-xo.html
@@Gamenetics He said Series S not One S, i belive The Series X and Series S controllers are the same, u could say the Xbox Series S uses a Xbox Series X controller.
Great, in my taste I would just have changed the buttons, maybe the analog sticks, but the original d pad looks better whit his new design imo... btw I wanna ask to you vuys if you have faced problems whit an xbox one s controller not registering A button properly when pressed on certain angles, and if you found a solution for this, thanks in advance!
Understandable I completely agree, changing out the D-pad was mostly just for showing people how to do so. And to answer your question about connection problems, we haven't had any issues, but with any controller after some wear and tear that type of problem is pretty common. Thanks for the feedback!
I'd imagine you can just use a faceplate from an older controller to cover the gap. Actually going to do this later today so I'll try to remember to comment if it worked as I hope.
It looks like an Xbox One style D-PAD for Xbox series controller. Where do I find one of that? The Amazon link doesn't direct you to one of that model. I really an Xbox One style D-PAD, 'cause the I find the new one terrible for fighting games.
I ordered the magnetic anologs for the Xbox series X controller when I added them my left trigger stopped working because of the magnet at the base of the anolog base your stick connects to
I love how they have not changed the controller at all. I used to customize these in 2016 and internally they're still the exact same as the standard xbox one controller

Great vid! Now I got my golden buttons on my black series x controller! 🔥
Is there anyway I can change the triggers and bumpers from the series x controller to the xbox one trigger and bumpers
No different shell shape
Got it thanks, ended up getting a elite controller and just using trigger stops
@@isaiahpardo7955 ah nice I’ve got the elite series 2 but my right trigger has snapped off so I’m trying to find a new cover for it
is there any way to make the buttons less clicky and loud? cuz the dpad especially is loud AF

Can you use a regular Xbox one d-pad ? In that controller do you think?
Great video 👍
Do you actually need a T6? Only ask because other parts say that you only need T8

You can use Xbox One Controller ABXY buttons on Series Controller?

how would i go about replacing the triggers?
