@ktosi11 its still a VR6, a V6 consists of 1 block and 1 heads... our cars are still considered german INLINE 6 cylinders. VR = Vee Reihen... german for inline V.
and for the people that dont know the VR6 CORRADO IS A TURBO AND THE CORRADO G60 IS A SUPERCHARGED VERSION AND YOU CAN ALSO GET A HIGHLINE VERSION AND STORM VERSION WHICH IS THE BEST I BELIEVE

still cant beat the sound of the 2.8 vr6 tho .. the later engine have more exhaust noise then induction roar... still nice engine ..most of been a real big shoe horn to fit in in there tho
Can the battery get relocated to other side where there's that open gap (above the charcoal canister hanging ahead of the passenger wheel well? Would allow you to extend your air intake away from the engine, get some cooler air.
ahh ya see now i want 1 of those engines in my Corrado! mine is the 12v 2.8... i imagine there must be a big diff? also think a 6 speed vr trans would be great? Sweet!
Great engine, lineal power delivery, sound great in a full acceleration, but direct injected petrol engine sucks, with the hood open, sounds like a diesel!. But Corrado, still an awesome coupé, a timeless design. I love VW Corrado!

@ktosi11 Engine code is either BWS or BLV, both of which are 10.6* VR6 engines. It's common for VW and Audi to label their VRs as just Vs
@PimpedRs4 the older style VR6s are 15 degrees. the R36 motor is slightly more compact at 10 degrees

@250Bikerboy VR6 Corrado is not turbo. It is N/A motor. The storm was only offered in europe.

This engine is from the Vw CC....it's the 3.6 liter vr6. Not the golf 3 2.8 vr6. This has around 280 hp at the crank!

the VR 3.6 is not the same engine. The golf VR is a 2.8 apart from the R32 (3.2) and the R36. This engine is in Tourag, later model Passats and CC's.
