I have to share my super deal at Kroger. This week you save an additional 5 dollars when you buy 3 participating health products. I used the $2 soft soap body wash coupon making it 2.79. I used the $3 dollar off Colgate toothpaste making it 1.29, and the $3 dollar off a Colgate toothbrush making it 1.79. The total was 5.87 before the 5 dollar off coupon. My grand total after they took off the $5 dollars for buying 3 was 87 cents! Check your coupons friends😊
We have a set budget for holidays. And add to it year round. Part of our gifts may be flats of carnation evap milk, big cocoa boxes, flavored Quaker oats, cereals in multi packs, things like flavored malto meal, even juice boxes. Kids love winter bulk or their parents will skip it because of budget. It's my job to put that joy back I'm the grandkids. These are also extremely needed as donations, warm foods like cup o noodles, ramen cups, cups of Mac n cheese, even yep beef stew, soups, crackers, individual cookie packs, individual peanut or nut butters, tiny jellys, slim jims- dried terraki beef, summer sausage. All needed and loved. So yeah we get flats of dinty Moore on sale, Campbell's on sale. Gifting is the help parents need right now. 2 years ago I went to a party where one mom if 5 had baby- 7 year old. We all were told bring foods, baby formula, baby wives, diapers, pull-ups, flats and bags of boxes. She was in need as her husband gets laid off over winter...51 $ for 1 can of formula yikes. So we all grabbed flats, formula, wipes dispers She had a van full. Had no idea.
Practical gifts are such a blessing! That is such a good reason to shop the sales and stock up. I love to do the same, and I am always glad when I hear of others who gift like this too. 🥰
Another great video! Your channel has always had such a positive vibe to it, lately there has been some snarky comments starting to appear about people’s personal choices and beliefs. I love your channel and hope this doesn’t start happening too much.
Sigh. Sadly, yes, there are always people who try to critique and be critical. I try to be respectful BUT never fear, this is my channel and kindness always wins. I do my best to stay on top of all the comments and will delete or block anyone who chooses not to be kind here - to me or others. 🥰
PS I just went through and deleted several thoughtless comments about people's shopping choices. If people want or need to shop at Walmart - or if that is their only option - that is certainly their right!
Hey friend I finally got that appointment Nov 22 going to see specialist and see if she can repair me thank you for all your prayers 🙏🙏🙏 loved the vlog
Nice that you are keeping paper products it in budget, as it 1) simplifies. (2. So many paper products and cleaning agents can be simplified by using cloth replacement or making most cleaning products from very simple products such as vinegar, bleach, ammonia. It certainly has cut down on my clutter since I started using simple products to make cleaning products, plus the biggie was when I sewed up a lot of napkins, kitchen towels, etc.
I was a bit nervous watching the video with Caleb jumping up and down right behind that tower of eggs - probably not as close as it looked on the video🤣🤣🤣
He is definitely a sweetheart!! You really got some good deals!! The new Rouses opened! Well my daughter had to work and when she went after work you could not find anywhere to park So one of her coworkers did go and he said,”Well we definitely want be shopping there! .Everything was higher priced other than the grand opening items which were Louisiana things that we don’t carry. The meat sales were fair but they were already Sold out and they were waiting on a truck delivery!” So that the situation for me! It’s not any better!!
That is so interesting! I would still keep an eye on their sale flyers and see if they occasionally run good sales - especially on meat. Kroger is definitely a more expensive store but their sales make it worth it. I wonder if after the hype dies down of the grand opening, you will find any good sales in the weeks to come. 🤔
Our Walmart JUST rolled back the beans and corns. Last week, nothing, and middle of this week, they rolled back so hopefully your Walmart follows soon!

HELLO MASTER CALEB! You are a handsome little photo bomber! You always make me smile. 😎 I overstocked on Campbell soups @.99 cents/can, but it has forced me to buy a shelving unit from Sams and reorganize my overstock. My niece is bringing the shelving Saturday & helping set it up for me! I can't wait, i feel so disorganized with food everywhere. Thanks for another great vlog! 🍁🦃🌻🧡
I plan to pick up the Kroger $4 pie. Just because, lol. You go through more eggs than you realize in Nov & Dec. Getting them now is a good idea if the bird flu gets any worse. May be the best price for a few months.
That is an excellent point! Holiday baking definitely takes more eggs...and I have quite the list of recipes to start baking! 😊 And enjoy the pie! That's a great price for a delicious dessert...and much cheaper than any of the frozen pies!
I am all out of eggs and jealous of your great deal. I bought a dozen for $2.15 at Aldi so prices have come down because they were up to $4 here. I went through October spending and I had spent $0.63 on household to get dawn on sale with a coupon and $1 off purchase. That was my only household purchase 😂
Oh wow! See? Totally makes sense to keep combining things then. That's me toiletry wise. Some months nothing and some months, stocking up. 🤷♀️ Here's hoping you get an egg sale soon!
The reason I separate out cleaning and toiletries is that I get those items at Sams in "industrial" quantities and very few of them go on sale. My system, which I've shared before, is to stock up on the basics for paper products, garbage bags, detergents, shampoo, shave cream, etc. in the months when I know our spending is lower than usual. Same with stuff I get from the Dollar Tree b/c those items are a constant price - they are never going to be on sale. I know which months have a lot of birthdays and other special events, as well as bills we pay only once a year (like AAA membership, news subscriptions, etc.) and so I do the cleaning and toiletries stock up at Sams during the months when we have more margin in our monthly budget. But we are two Senior citizens, retired, and so our life is very different from that of a young family.
I love that you have a system that works for you! If I keep things grouped together, I know I am definitely going to have to raise my budget in the coming year. But I am playing around with a couple ways to make this work. I have ideas that I am still pondering and finetuning. 💡 Stay tuned! 😊
Ours in OK City metro (delivery warehouse only in OK) have been $1.99 for the 18, but now they've gone up to $2.49. I'm still buying them! 😂I still have a few cartons in my garage fridge and I'm going to freeze them in my silicone muffin trays in 1 egg and maybe some with 2 at a time for recipes. I may get a second Kroger delivery of eggs before this sale ends. It's so handy to be stocked up and it saves a step of cracking the eggs, especially if you're making a lot of scrambled eggs or an omelet. ❤❤]
I almost forgot to tell you that lidl has turkeys for a steal .39 per lb if you spend 25.00 and allowed two turkeys I done it twice the deal cheapest meat find and can use it just like chicken in recipe or cook a turkey Feb or March etc next year hopefully this will help some viewers

Good questions! I leave them in the bags and store them in a plastic food safe gallon bucket until I am ready to bring one bag up to the kitchen to use.
