You’re a life saver. I rented a 2021 Mirage and spent about 10 minutes at the gas station trying to figure this out and the owners manual should have included a line to the effect of “oh and by the way, the handle is essentially camouflaged into the floorboard.”

It also shouldn't require watching this video, i thought for sure this was going to be a video on what to do when the cable fails or sonething. On nearly every single car that has a lever, it is located just in front of the hump on the floor that the drivers seat is mounted on.
I guess thats why its all people that are renting cars who are on here... I dont see how it could be possible that you cant figure this out, but if you've never owned cars, i guess that might do it.

@@nameless-og I'm 48 years old and have had more than 10 cars 8n my life and NONE of them had a fuel door lever.
@@videoshomepage are you loyal to certain brands/types? I'm 40 and have had many more cars, probably closer to 25ish that were "mine"... but way more than that if you consider the ones i used to sell as a side gig. It was pretty rare to not have this lever in my experience. I currently have a ford that does not have one, while my other 4 cars do. I do remember there were some economy cars I sold from the early 90s that instead had a key on the door... I think they were nissans.
Many of the cars I sold, the cable or the latch itself were oddly amoung the things i often had to fix... Only Chevys for some reason always cracked at the plastic handle 😕
