Ashlands Semi-hardcore EP20: The Forgotten Episode (Hardmode No-Map Valheim)

YEAH I screwed up and posted 21 instead of 20. WHOOPS! Didn't miss out on too much but here you are! I have started on the next series already, that should be rolling out sometime next week
Hello! This will be our first series that journeys past the queen into the Ashlands! To add extra spice, we're going hard mode and without a map (hence semi-hardcore)! - portals are still on to save a TON of time sailing. We will be drawing our own map of the estimated landmasses and surroundings throughout the series, feel free to check out the seed and compare (but don't spoil, I'm not done yet!!) Great gaming.
I'm running full heavy armor and the archers even 1 star are super trivial.
But, the 1 star warriors are rougher to deal with. You seem to handle them with ease using that build.

All is well. Glad we got to see the lost episode :) - And don't worry about any whining, all players are whining about the Ashlands. Its a tough biome for sure.

I don't think it's tough after nerf it's just annoying more than anything, the archer spam is a really crappy way to make it "challenging", very little counterplay just encourages magic and ranged weapon spam

lol playing hard mode and whining about how hard it is. Still I’m really enjoying your content. Try turning off auto pickup and building chests next to portal to store your ore so it doesn’t de spawn.

Not really how hard it is, just how uninteresting ashlands mobs are, mistlands was so much better designed. Theres just not much counterplay to the rock and arrow spam, and warrior spam in ashlands while seekers and gjalls you can out maneuver and take out with some advanced gameplay, and still play melee. I agree there's too much complaining tho I genuinely just don't like ashlands that much

@@henrik9658Fair comment. Ashlands does get a bit monotonous with the constant mob spawns. I think it’s for those who just love battle!

Yes it's a very different style. Tbh I'm not minding it too much on my latest series and playing a lot better.
