I remember watching the video and talking it very literral. I thought this song was actually about this woman being in a coma, maybe after a miscarriage because they kept showing a baby. After hearing the last line that wasn't in the video "am i not all you dreamed i would be?" i'm pretty sure the weird guy in the elevator was her father, she was the baby, and the whole song is about growing up into a boring role for other people, until your everyday live becomes a coma in itself. The silent screaming in the video and the though of being in a coma myself terrified me, but we might all be in this situation to some degree...
