    I remember watching the video and talking it very literral.
    I thought this song was actually about this woman being in a coma, maybe after a miscarriage because they kept showing a baby.
    After hearing the last line that wasn't in the video "am i not all you dreamed i would be?" i'm pretty sure the weird guy in the elevator was her father, she was the baby, and the whole song is about growing up into a boring role for other people, until your everyday live becomes a coma in itself.
    The silent screaming in the video and the though of being in a coma myself terrified me, but we might all be in this situation to some degree...

Then Peapodmaster implied that DnB Pendulum couldn't make beautiful music, so I replied with a great atmospheric track by them entitled Plastic World.

      Interesting fact - the first ever dnb track released in vinyl in Australia was a remix of this song. Search Pendulum - Ever Since I was Born

    I came across this by accident but really like it! Can someone recommend some other similar stuff. Is it called ambient? Just something as beautiful as this!

      sadly there is nothing similar to that sound, and only one album which is very different than this track. If you listen to the album, you can guess the author must have shot himself just after this is so dark

    Lol! I’m 71 and still love this as much as I did when it was first released. I’m trying to think of the movie in which it was part of the soundtrack. Was it 1984? Or maybe Logan’s Run?

    • @dcameron9570
      @dcameron9570 ปีที่แล้ว

      Just read some comments and know it was associated with Aldous Huxley so going for 1984…

    There is tons of music similar to this, a favourite of mine is Aphex Twin - Flim.. It's kinda similar, unfortunately I am not really sure what the genre is called.

    Would be nice to be able to purchase this album from somewhere online. Haven't been able to buy it since I first heard it at the age of 15. I'm 33 now. Surely the artists can sell on Bandcamp?

      Buy music in a format you actually own, and will continue to own for as long as you want despite any corporate licensing. I recommend ripping CDs. And get off my lawn.

    "hug me till you drug me honey, kiss me, 'til im in a coma,."

    "bad bad bad."
