The high speed ratchet is far superior than any of the other ones

If you’re using it all the time, go with the Fuel. If not, and you can find a deal on the brushed with batteries and a charger, it will be good for you.

I actually bought the deal off Amazon about 6 or 7 months ago using it professionally and it’s been great! Just upgraded to the fuel on Friday, matco just partnered with Milwaukee and is running a special next week that I’m already on the list for. It’s a 1/2in, 3/4 impact. 2 big batteries, charger and either a grease gun or hammer drill for $850. Hopefully I can get that next week if he has it

@@GottisGarage For you, it sounds like the grease gun would be your choice. For me, it would be the hammer drill.

I got the brushed ratchet in a daily special from Home Depot bundled with two 6amp batteries and a charger for $189 plus tax. I just wanted to expand my m12 set to include something I can use in my garage.

That’s an amazing deal considering I bought my brushless Friday (tool only) for $189 lol you can’t go wrong with one of them! Huge improvement for any garage

@@GottisGarage I’m saying I got the brushed in a bundle, not brushless.
You got a good deal on yours since the brushed version is $149 bare tool at Home Depot. That’s the main reason I jumped on the bundle.
Several years ago, the brushless tools were still fairly new and pretty expensive.
They had the brushed version of the m12 drill and impact driver on sale for $99 with two 2amp batteries and a charger that Father’s Day, so I bought it. It has served me well over the years but I’ve been wanting bigger batteries, so this bundle was perfect for me.
Like I said, I’m just going to be using it to work on my own cars once in awhile, so it should work out well.

I have a cheap ass no brand 3/8" cost me $53 and came with 2 batteries. It does the job and is holding up. I'm a old retired guy . I fix my own stuff and learned a thing or two about tools. If you're a professional you'll need the professional grade tools. If not Harbor freight tools are good for something your going to use 4-5 times a year.

I originally had the non-Fuel cuz I bought it with the stubby impact off a coworker to use as a Jeep toolset but I got hooked and bought a Fuel ratchet too. The Fuel is just something else man.

I honestly don’t see an advantage. Torque is pretty irrelevant, and the speeds are on par.
non FUEL has a faster RPM but less torque than the FUEL.
However, in this video, he is using the FUEL high speed. Faster speed than the non FUEL, but exact same torque.
I picked up my non fuel version for about 60 USD on sale. The price difference just made it too easy of a choice for me

I had a non fuel for a long time and it was awesome, upgraded to a fuel and had nothing but issues, had really poor battery life, 3 months in it burned up for no reason, smoke everywhere. Had it repaired, was ok after but low on power and half the screws fell out leaving it all loose and useless. I threw it out and bought another 1st Gen, I’m sorry I really like them!

Im used to doing non mechanic related builds/fixes with lag bolts that I'm always reaching for my impact driver with socket adapter but I get it, the times i need it for mechanical work it fits into places nicely lile a normal socket wrench. In non engine bay areas like around rotors, calipers I prefer my 3/8 Kobalt impact wrench.
I got the brushed version as a "free tool" when i got the m12 fuel hammer drill and impact driver. Hate the electronic drill clutch by the way.
