Hi! Someone recently pointed out that the UV index in UK has been zero at the moment, I didn't know that was even possible during the day hahahaha. Anyway, for the first time ever, I am just not using SPF. Do you still use it even with a UV index of zero?
Hi :) Yes, so according to health authorities and Cancer Research UK, the general guideline is that sun protection isn’t strictly necessary when the UV Index is 0-2. Other factors like your skin tone, how much time you spend outdoors, recent invasive skin treatments, or managing hyperpigmentation might influence your decision to wear SPF in low UV conditions. I apply sunscreen every morning simply out of habit 😅 In low UV like now, I will just use an SPF 15/ 30 or a tinted sunscreen as it doubles as makeup (I don’t bother to reapply it)
@chareesbeauty Humm, that does make sense, because even with index 0, there is still UV radiation, just very low. It is not the same as being night though! I guess the "zero" is a bit misleading .
I love your videos skincare routine ,thanks lovely ❤😊 xx
Thank me? No thank YOU! I love watching long form skin care videos
