    I know alot of people don't install the hammer spring, but I highly recommend that any player take the time to install the hammer spring when upgrading their recoil spring. The heavier hammer spring will help prevent light striking and will also help extend the lifetime of the stock plastic slide.

      Thanks for the view, I find a lot of hi capa tuning is personal preference, you find a setup that works for you and go with it. Generally I tend to run TM lowers and they are so sweet I rarely change anything as the cost of a couple of parts buys me a new pistol completely. Quantity over quality? Maybe but it makes more shiny things on the wall lol.

    love the color scheme you gave it. i myself use the aip hammer protector on all my builds. But if you are not a capa main. it is not needed. i have seen capa frames en slide who use it alot. it definitly helps. Great video man!

    I’d recommend a hammer protection pad

    • @AngryBullAirsoft
      @AngryBullAirsoft  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Is it just for frame protection?

    • @Fokkkker
      @Fokkkker 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@AngryBullAirsoft yeah it protects the frame from cracking. Where the hammer meets the frame, it prevents it from touching

    For the nozzle spring, I like having the narrow side on the back end. That way as the nozzle moves the spring is less likely to snag on the rear sight
    As for hammer protection pads, I like to use them. 1, they tend to keep the hammer from hitting the frame and damaging that which is good but also it shortens the distance the slide moves before contacting the hammer, putting less stress on the hammer over time. Makes the contact more like a push, instead of a slap. There are good and bad hammer pad designs, I like aluminum over steel ones.
    As for cowcows allen key, I emailed them I lost the screw for the sight, and they mailed me a little baggy of those micro screws and a mini allen key for them, it was a 0.7mm iirc

      Thank you for your words. Very helpful, it's a constant evolution and I'm enjoying all the variables and testing.

    so how do you get the fitting of the 4.3 slide on file down the slide or frame of the capa?

    • @AngryBullAirsoft
      @AngryBullAirsoft  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Always the frame! Usually it's because of some casting marks on the TM frames, a very light and gentle file, clean, lube, test fit and then when you can get it on without forcing it, about an hour or 2 of handracking (whilst lubed) to fully mate them.

    • @AngryBullAirsoft
      @AngryBullAirsoft  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hello - Yes 5.1 inner barrel with a 4.3 outer and I used the acetech thread adaptor the tracer came with. Absolutely brilliant setup.

      @@AngryBullAirsoft Thank you brother!! Who would of thought I’d have to rack my brain so much to build a hi capa lol! Yes it does appear to be rather simple but there’s so many aftermarket parts, then to think well what colors do I wanna use and what parts will provide the best performance . 🤦🏼‍♂️again thank you!! 🙏🏼

    • @AngryBullAirsoft
      @AngryBullAirsoft  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You're welcome. It can be a minefield - I'd say try to learn the concepts behind the parts, not "the parts" - understand the "why" and "how" and you won't go far wrong.

    Does 4.3 slide works on 5.1 ?

    • @AngryBullAirsoft
      @AngryBullAirsoft  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Absolutely, on these BC's it'll even show the nice cuts around the guide rod plug area.
