If anyone wants to build a similar multi-GPU-focused PC today, I would suggest going with a Threadripper 1900X for its 64 PCIe lanes :) Really nice build, you knew what you were doing. Props on using a dedicated output card, people keep forgetting you can do that with graphics cards.
neoqueto when i checked comparison at userbenchmark between threadripper 16 cores and intel i9 10 core. I saw that even though i9 is having 10 core still it was faster in performance as compared to threadripper hence i wanted to know why so.
Had to subscribe! Great details in the explanations! Just ordered my first build. Came out to $5,180.00 USD. I got the Ryzen Threadripper (16 cores 32 Threads 3.4gz), ASUS ROG Zenith Extreme sTR4 x399 mother board, x1 Quadro P5000 (going to add more later on), x2 Vengeance RGB ddr4 3600 16gb RAM cards (adding more later), x2 4Tb BarrCuda HD, Samsung 860 EVO 500gb SSD (might get some M.2's later), Enermax Liqtech TR4 240 AIO liquid CPU cooler, Corsair Obsidian 750D Airflow Black bushed aluminum, Corsair RM1000x 80 Plus Gold power supply. Plus x2 Acer 25" monitors. One standard HD and 2nd WQHD 2K IPS 4ms, Corsair RGB keyboard and Logitech G502 Proteus Spectrum RGB tunable gaming mouse with 11 programmable buttons! Had to get internal DVD drive to install software. Can't wait to build it this weekend!!
Thanks! Can't wait till I can add few more P5000's or get a P6000! I really like the studio you're in! I'm hoping to get into something like that when I start my VFX department!!
I like everything I've seen this evening. Great technical competence, great manual skills, and, last but not least, your animation works are astonishing! GREAT GREAT GREAT!!!
Just discovered your channel, great videos! As someone reentering the world of 3D work your videos have helped me a lot with understanding all the latest softwares and hardware considerations, thanks!
Enjoyed the video, even though I couldn't afford any of this, it gives a certain level of satisfaction. Just a quick note, EK waterblock is from Slovenia. Cheers man, keep it up, enjoying the videos so far.
Мужик! Я посмотрел все твои видосы за два дня! Этот контент просто шикарен. Как и по содержанию, так и по качеству. Oh, yes :) I can speak english if this need. With huge respect from Kyev, Ukraine.
I am running a macbook pro 16gb with cinema4d and vray. This feels like I am driving a super ancient car while you drive your Bugati Veyron... :p I think I need to step up my game when looking at your videos. Great stuff!
Thanks so much for sharing, so much useful information here! I have been working as a freelancer this year in CGI and am feeling the pain working on my iMac, although I have been surprised with how well my Macbook Pro i7 2015 can handle Maya I think its time to upgrade and your vid has seriously got me thinking about building my own. Did a bit of shopping around and recon your build is around £5,800 (if you sourced the items today). Thanks!
Bruh... honestly man you deserve every single subscriber coming to you atm. #Andrey100k2018 PS. thanks for always replying on insta!! Means a lot. Andrew Kramer 2.0 over here! ;D
I'm gonna make a similar system next year - i was initially afraid of a water cooling system, but it's more scaring working without it. i'm now with 2 1080ti air cooled and during summer i feel real pain :D
Hey Andrey this was scary for me in the beginning... watching you do this... especially when you mentioned the possibility of water damage. I'm looking at buying a prebuilt system because I'm not conversant with building pc's at any level... mac user struggles... but after watching this,I'm a little confident that I can learn.
this video made me realize that i don't want water cooled workstation. However really good video! learned so much from it and gived me plenty of information to my next system build
Nice video, one thing: canned air is a very potent greenhouse gass as it isn't just compressed air, usually one can is equal to burning around a 150 liters of fuel. Also, it isn't good for plastics, which your ram slots and cpu sockets ect won't like. A longer term cheaper alternative (if you add up the dozens of cans you can use in a lifetime) is to get something like a metrovac datavac ed-500esd, you could also get something half that price but you might not get the esd versions.
This guy sounds like he is teaching evil geniuses production skills in a mansion’s basement in the middle of nowhere. Jokes aside, I’ve watched several videos from this channel now. Great content
I knew it that you will break the 10k within 2 months. I am following your videos since the beginning. Literelly, every video on your channel is perfect!!!!!! I love you man (no homo^^)
Nice man ! I wona build some kind of this one bro! You are really good master ) I have seen all of yours videos. And actually I am a russian and I bet that you know russian dude )
Nice piece of art :) I have the same PC case and I have 2 questions: 1. How did you mount the pump inside? Did you have to drill some holes in the back wall? 2. Not directly about the case: I also have 4 GPUs and the lowest GPU covers the power socket on the motherboard. So that I have to turn the PC on with the button on the motherboard itself. And how do you turn the PC on?
1. Yeah had to come up with my own way of mounting it. Drill some stuff. 2. Take off the shell of the connectors, remember where everything is though. Isolate them from each other (gaffer tape) and connect one by one. There will be no hard shell anymore to cause problems )
You’ve been my favorite person on TH-cam for a while now. I had a question about GPUs. Which single GPU would you recommend for workstation tasks with modeling in maya, Zbrush and substance suite. I have a budget of 800-1000 usd. Keep up the awesome content!
Hey mate. The best deal so far is GTX1080Ti - you should be able to find it within your budget. Maya and zBrush don’t benefit from GPU though. They are relying on CPU and RAM ;) hope that helps
bro i found your channel, i swear its like God knew i been asking for the right answers, and i random find your page super late night....it was like omg this guy talks my lingo, has no fluff or clickbate stuff, im not 1 to ask for help or have my hand out...i need to be your under study bro...ill pay u what i can if i can just have access to talk with you over the net....even better if your in NYC and we could link up....i already got the feeling your prob a busy important guy, and if thats the case i respect that....but i swear i feel like im walking in the desert alone and this has been my whole life bro.....ive never even had some 1 i could ask a simple question and they break it down in laymens term....im a poor piece of trash up here in NYC from TN working....dude please hit me back let me know if we can work out some type of payment plan so i can have a web chat with you....i also hit you on IG.....bro i was so stressed when i found your videos and they just made me feel better, to the point every night im doing some type of editing or filming....taking small steps.....even if u dont hit me back bro....im not mad at ya......bro u planting good seeds in the universe and the blessing gonna come back to you 10 fold....omg dude i just love how your vids are not click bait....im soaking up all the info n love you putting out there......super super big thanks bro
Thank you! Really great video! I have a question though. Is it possible to multiply two gpus ( discrete + external one) to double the render speed in 3d modelling using octane or redshift plugins for c4d??? I`ve got Dell G5 Inspiron 5587 4K with GTX 1060 Max-Q 6GB and considering to buy another external one from Aurus and connect it via thunderblt 3
Thank you for this! ,,,,, oh, and the other videos! I would like to ask if your still using this, have you upgraded it since this video? I will confess the water element to this build is terrifying! As you could imagine.
hi i have a question do you keep on changing liquid or what happens does this liquid gets off or its there all days ? i have never used any liquid pc ,then what happens when your pc lucks liquid without you knowing
Can you make a video on the differences between CG softwares, forsay render engines, modifiers, sculpting, materials and so on. I know this is quite huge but no need to hurry 😅 Oh and please include blender because most people that can't afford "professional" CG software or are new to CG will use blender, and include EEVEE render engine if you can. I hope you make this vid, and thanks for all the awesome helpful content 🔥👌
"I can even play while I'm rendering" Those are the magic words
must be similar to getting head
@@gregandoni5765 Its a little better. Because this let's you play and render at the same time. But nobody says you cant get blown at the same time
Still Wakes me up from my nightmares
Fantastic presentation! You could listen to this guy all day. You would do well presenting a documentary for TV.
These are the highest quality tutorials I've ever seen. You are a mad man and I love it.
A mad man in a reality world, it's a blessing to that one of best, is sharing his knowledge and time for little oh me. .
If anyone wants to build a similar multi-GPU-focused PC today, I would suggest going with a Threadripper 1900X for its 64 PCIe lanes :)
Really nice build, you knew what you were doing. Props on using a dedicated output card, people keep forgetting you can do that with graphics cards.
I just got the x1950 Threadripper with the Quadro P5000!!!
That's hard-core man... I have a 1950X and a GTX 1080
Why threadripper with 16 cores in not even at par with 10 core i9 ???
kushal chaudhari what do you mean?
neoqueto when i checked comparison at userbenchmark between threadripper 16 cores and intel i9 10 core. I saw that even though i9 is having 10 core still it was faster in performance as compared to threadripper hence i wanted to know why so.
That 1070 move is awesome

I'm about to start buying components for my first PC build. Hoping to work my way up to 3x1080ti. Andrey, you are a big inspiration!

My dude out here like a John Wick villain bout to school somebody how to build a gangster-ass workstation. 💯
You should definitely put an affiliate link to everything you've mentioned. You deserve everything coming your way
Man, long time I haven't found a channel with such good and precise content ! Keep the good work. Cheers from France ;)

Really cool man, love it. I've built all my own machines as well, so much power in controling your own hardware.
Love your channel man. It reeks of flavor and talent. Keep up the good work Andrey.
Thanks mate. Very kind feedback 👊🏻
Just install a drain value and you will be fine. Love the cpu paste, that is crazy.
You channel makes me motivated and then demotivated , like I feel so poor now lol

11:14 EKWB is from Slovenia, not Slovakia. However, since Slovenia is such a tiny puny little country, it's not difficult to miss it. lol
Great video!
Dang, I had no idea custom water loops require so much maintenance!
Really helpful big brother..thanks for the video
Craazy loved it bro.
Nice one! I converted my Ant-PC.COM Gaming PCs into Watercooled System with EKWB Cooling Kit.

No )

BEAST!!!!!!!
Awesome build and video! I have 4 1080ti hybrids in mine. I imagine you get better cooling building a custom water cooled loop?
Hey Matt, do you get any heat issues with your 4 hybrids? Best T
