The key is to clean as you go and pick up anything that needs to be picked up before going to bed. People have complimented me how I could keep my home clean with 4 kids. They are now since grown and on their own. :(

Same here lol I am very light as well but very warm toned and Dermacol 208 is EXTREMELY pink on me (looks neutral on Taylor's swatch). I always get intrigued when Taylor finds a good foundation that has yellow-toned shades!

Love you Taylor! I hated my eyes when I was on Accutane. I noticed a significant amount of dryness and redness. That was a side effect that I was never warned about and it may be what's causing the burning sensation with your eyes in general. You're beautiful as always!

I got my nose pierced when I was 16, I developed a hard flashy bump next to it and I thought it would never go away! I used tea tree oil and lavender oil and it did go away after 6-8 weeks. I applied both oils at the same time just on a Qtip 2X a day. Im 30 now and my nose piercing is still there and looks great although I almost never wear any jewelry in it. I'm saying all of this in case that bump is not from the makeup.

I absolutely love the fact that you don't use filters and you actually try to get the most accurate lighting. I can't stand reviews when the person says it it looks terrible but you can't tell because they use a filter! So pointless and annoying. I bought the Jouer Foundation a couple of weeks ago and it’s amazing. I love the way it sits on my skin and the all day coverage. I have combination skin and I didn’t get oily at all. Flawless 🙌🏻

I have normal/dry skin and I have a horrible time getting this foundation to stay on a full day. I have tried several different primers, powder,etc with it and no luck. Staying power isn’t normally an issue for my skin but I can’t get this foundation to stay on. Glad it worked out for you.

As someone that has dry skin, I’ve been mixing my primer with moisturizer then putting it on. Becca’s blurring primer is a very thin consistency, and mixes well, I’ve been using the DermaE Vitamin C moisturizer. With primers that tend to be more think, Smashbox, Revlon, etc., use a pump of the Ouai Rose oil.
They expanded the shade range to 50 shades! Now that is amazing. I just bought the new palest shade with cool undertones, 'ivory'. Can't wait to try it! Alabaster looks about right for me shade wise but the undertone is way too yellow. So I have high hopes for 'ivory'! I would suggest people google swatches because 'alabaster' is suppose to have a neutral/peach undertone but I think it has a neutral/yellow undertone.
i got this foundation as a sample from my last sephora order, and it looked beautiful on my skin where there was so texture, and absolutely awful where there was a little bit of dryness or pores. i love the coverage but oh my gosh

Hopefully it stays like that because I am loving it! Your results so far are really good!
I like the way it wears throughout the day. At first it looked a little too powdery, which is a problem I have with matte/high coverage foundations, but it got better with wear.

I have this in alabaster and vanilla. I mix them. Incredible coverage. Need to be well exfoliated and moisturized. I also use primer. This is a great foundation. It’s currently 2019 and they now have a ton of shades, 50 I think...
For the bump on your nose mix in non iodized sea salt with warm water and what I did was took a little cap from something filled it with the water and just soaked my piercing for 5 to 10 minutes a couple times a day and it went away after a few days to a week :)
I never comment on videos but I love yours and wanted to make a few recommendations since I have crazy dry skin! For the little bump on your nose, chamomile tea bags in hot water and tea tree oil and it will go away! I have had a nose ring for about a year and that always takes it away without over-drying the area around my piercing! For skin care, the Dr. Jart+ ceramidin lotion and cream together, the FAB coconut primer, and the Mario Badescu rose water spray are all amazing!

Try Cortisone cream for the bump on your nose piercing. I swear by it, I just put it on before I go to bed and leave it on over night for a couple days and it makes the biggest difference without irritating my skin or the piercing. Highly recommend! ❤️

I love how you try and work out the best lighting for us to see it's soo frustrating constantly hearing 'it looks different on camera' from youtubers and just seeing constant brightness in a studio setting. Personally I prefer it when we see it both in the studio (not when it's hella bright of course) and both outside in a vlogging situation which you do aswell. ❤️❤️

warm salt soaks with de-iodized sea salt and warm water and tee tree oil helps get rid of your bump on your nose! just be consistent with the soaks ☺️ -a piercer
I just got samples of this in every shade when I ordered their lip creme - it is a little drying for my skin (I use Rx retinal). The finish was so beautiful though that I am going to try it again with a pore filling primer and mixed with one of my other foundations. I will say I used barely ANY of this and it covered my full face.
This looks SO beautiful on you! I also just started accutane and we have very similar skin types so I am addicted to your reviews right now!!! Just a thought, but maybe you could re-review some of the old foundations that you liked but were too oily for you at the time and see how they work now as your skin gets more dry!
For the nose bump i use a mixture of baking soda, salt, and warm water. It makes a paste you sleep with it on your nose and like a week later it’s gone.
about the watery eyes: my eyes would pretty much consistently stream all day every day while I was on Accutane; I couldn't really wear eyeshadow or liner or even mascara (I think I tried a new one every couple of weeks 'cause I thought I was allergic to something in them for a while, but no, just turned out to be the dryness). It only got better once my dose was really low, plus I used hypoallergenic mascara which wasn't the best product I've ever used, but it did very much help with my eyes. Maybe use eyedrops as well? Funnily enough, my eyes did cause me the most trouble throughout the whole process.

I just rewatched your video again and I heard you mention you thought Jouer would look great mixed with Este Lauder...Let me tell you, IT DOES!!! That's exactly what I do!! I use the Jouer Shell which is a little too dark right now and then I've been mixing in Este Lauder 1N1 for the perfect shade. The coverage is beautiful and no powder is needed to set. I do use the Becca First light Primer beforehand. Oh and the Jouer Brush works amazing!!
I'm so envious of your skin in the check ins! I no longer have cystic acne, but have oily skin (as much as yours was prior to Accutane) and I can DEFINITELY tell the medication has made your skin "normal." I unfortunately am not a candidate for Accutane, so I will never know such bliss. 😔
I have really dry skin, something that works wonders for me is the Hydra Genius by L’Oreal. It’s so moisturizing and leaves my skin super soft and hydrated all day. I would definitely recommend it
Accutane actually regulates your skin. If you’re extremely oily, it makes you less oily, vise versa with dry skin. So once you’re done with it your skin should regulate, and be less oily!
Your skin is looking like it has improved a lot already...it looks more even tone and smooth texture throughout...I just thought I’d tell you bc I know it’s hard to see changes in ourselves as much as others notice them...I’m excited for this foundation review...I have dry skin so I got my fingers crossed it doesn’t cling to dry spots🤞
I had to rewatch this video because I just bought this foundation😂 literally all the foundations I’ve bought are because of you. I used to think I was pretty close to your skin color but I bought the shade in between these two & it is waay too light! I now use it a concealer because it is so full coverage & I mix in with the Peach Comfort Matte foundation. If you haven’t tried that combo yet, you totally should!💚 I also have pretty dry skin & this combo is so beautiful, especially with the Catrice setting spray on top!

It's not sold in any stores. Jouer is not the fastest shipper, either. At least it's free. Definitely recommend 😎

Same here! I'm on my fifth month and haven't been able to wear eye make up without my eyes being severally irritated all day since the first month.
I am post-Accutane and frequently can't wear eyeshadow because my eyes are so dry and irritated. 😂😂 But I think it was worth it.

For the bump on your nose mix in non iodized sea salt with warm water and what I did was took a little cap from something filled it with the water and just soaked my piercing for 5 to 10 minutes a couple times a day and it went away after a few days to a week :)

For the little bump on your nose, chamomile tea bags in hot water and tea tree oil and it will go away! I have had a nose ring for about a year and that always takes it away without over-drying the area around my piercing!
For skin care, the Dr. Jart+ ceramidin lotion and cream together, the FAB coconut primer, and the Mario Badescu rose water spray are all amazing!

Wow your skin looks so good after such a short time using the medication. I send all the hydration vibes your way so it doesn't become too too dry.
Try Cortisone cream for the bump on your nose piercing. I swear by it, I just put it on before I go to bed and leave it on over night for a couple days and it makes the biggest difference without irritating my skin or the piercing. Highly recommend! ❤️

I just got samples of this in every shade when I ordered their lip creme - it is a little drying for my skin (I use Rx retinal). The finish was so beautiful though that I am going to try it again with a pore filling primer and mixed with one of my other foundations. I will say I used barely ANY of this and it covered my full face.
This looks SO beautiful on you! I also just started accutane and we have very similar skin types so I am addicted to your reviews right now!!! Just a thought, but maybe you could re-review some of the old foundations that you liked but were too oily for you at the time and see how they work now as your skin gets more dry!

For the nose bump i use a mixture of baking soda, salt, and warm water. It makes a paste you sleep with it on your nose and like a week later it’s gone.
about the watery eyes: my eyes would pretty much consistently stream all day every day while I was on Accutane; I couldn't really wear eyeshadow or liner or even mascara (I think I tried a new one every couple of weeks 'cause I thought I was allergic to something in them for a while, but no, just turned out to be the dryness). It only got better once my dose was really low, plus I used hypoallergenic mascara which wasn't the best product I've ever used, but it did very much help with my eyes. Maybe use eyedrops as well? Funnily enough, my eyes did cause me the most trouble throughout the whole process.

I just rewatched your video again and I heard you mention you thought Jouer would look great mixed with Este Lauder...Let me tell you, IT DOES!!! That's exactly what I do!! I use the Jouer Shell which is a little too dark right now and then I've been mixing in Este Lauder 1N1 for the perfect shade. The coverage is beautiful and no powder is needed to set. I do use the Becca First light Primer beforehand. Oh and the Jouer Brush works amazing!!
I'm so envious of your skin in the check ins! I no longer have cystic acne, but have oily skin (as much as yours was prior to Accutane) and I can DEFINITELY tell the medication has made your skin "normal." I unfortunately am not a candidate for Accutane, so I will never know such bliss. 😔

I have really dry skin, something that works wonders for me is the Hydra Genius by L’Oreal. It’s so moisturizing and leaves my skin super soft and hydrated all day. I would definitely recommend it
Accutane actually regulates your skin. If you’re extremely oily, it makes you less oily, vise versa with dry skin.
So once you’re done with it your skin should regulate, and be less oily!

I had to rewatch this video because I just bought this foundation😂 literally all the foundations I’ve bought are because of you. I used to think I was pretty close to your skin color but I bought the shade in between these two & it is waay too light! I now use it a concealer because it is so full coverage & I mix in with the Peach Comfort Matte foundation. If you haven’t tried that combo yet, you totally should!💚 I also have pretty dry skin & this combo is so beautiful, especially with the Catrice setting spray on top!

I bought the Pearl shade (2nd lightest) but had to return and go with Shell (3rd lightest). It's the perfect match ever in a foundation!! I love the coverage and finish it gives. It looks natural and not cakey or dull.
Only downside this DRIES SUPER FAST!! Oh and you can only buy online. It's not sold in any stores. Jouer is not the fastest shipper, either. At least it's free.

I know Accutane can dry your eyes out. Get some Visine for when you need your eyes clear and get some resetting drops to use throughout the day. Take care! I love love love your foundation videos.

I LOVE their primers! Jouer is a healthy ingredient brand, so I am a fan. I couldn’t even see your creasing. Looks really pretty. I am going to be in Seattle for Thanksgiving (Maple Valley), so cannot wait for the weather. I live in Phoenix. Wishing I could get away sooner to make it to Spokane (Sp?) Maybe another time.
I love that color combination and finish on you it's beautiful. I wonder with a sheer setting powder like hourglass or Bare Minerals if that would make a difference? Don't mix another foundation with it it's beautiful as it is.
