How to disable Ideapad from turning on just by opening the lid. Ideapad 3 15iil05
Use F2 Key to enter your bios.

You are an absolute legend! That has been driving me crazy for months! My last laptop got corrupted so I couldn't use any Microsoft Office programs (word, powerpoint, excel, project and the rest). I'd have it fully charged. Turn it on a few days later and its lost about 25% battery even though I turned everything off and made sure the laptop was off. Thank you again, all the way from England. Update - the bios settings in my laptop doesn't quite has the option to disable it, anyways I'm happy with the feature 😊

You can also disable it in Lenovo Vantage > Power > Flip to start

i have disabled it using Lenovo vantage.. but i have another doubt. In shutdown condition when we flip the lid and press any key.. the display shows battery percentage. any way to disable this??
