    Great video for those interested in a detailing business and those who want to care for personal vehicles.
    After watching part 1, I detailed the inside of my wife’s SUV with My Tornador I’ve had since Christmas.
    It worked great for cleaning the winter crime on the doors and door jabs.

    Just ordered a Tornador Black, can't wait to try it out. One thing people need to be aware of is that there's a lot copy cats of the Tornador, check to make sure it's the patented Tornador. Thanks for the video.

    I like your comments about Craftsman, haha. I am now a professional technician, but as a kid my dad brought me up with Craftsman tools, but as an automotive specialist I use Mac Matco and mainly Snap on. But my dad is a Carpenter/Contractor and he too lives by DeWalt tools. I know how great their tools are.

    That's a cool tool...I'm getting one. BTW, Bar is a measurement of pressure, not volume.

    Love the Tornador Black. I use Folex diluted 4-1 with DI water. Then hot water extraction. I think the APC may be a better cleaner, but some stains tend to reappear with it.

    A bar is the metric units of measurement for pressure, just like psi. cfm is cubic feet per minute which is a volume per unit of time measurement.

    This is a vortex type nozzle powered by compressed air that basically spins the solution into fibrous materials commonly used with enzyme extractors and non foaming oxygenated detergents with de-ionized water and air which disassociates the molecules from the surface or material that your cleaning. It is a pretty good process for vehicle detailing where light staining of individuals that maintain a fairly clean lifestyle. Undisciplined passengers, dogs, cats, smokers and sloshing belly busting big gulp drinkers where the the car looks like a (tornado hit it) may never need to purchase one of these Tornador devices since detailing is the last thing on their minds. I have a friend in the detailing business and he has one of these and it works great here in Las Vegas where there is plenty of oily parking lots and desert sand.

    When you put anything in a container that is different than the original, it is always a good idea to label it, so you do not accidentally confuse the contents and cause a problem. Just a thought.

    Another great video Darren. I have been watching your videos for a long time and loving the content. CONTENT IDEA: After looking at the Autogeek website, I noticed that the Tornador is also recommended for cleaning wheels. Will you please demo the Tornador on some really dirty wheels? If the Tornador can clean wheels with just water and air then it will save time and the cost of additional wheel/tire products. Ultimately making life/profits better for the detailer - I'll buy one immediately! Intrigued, but skeptical.

    You have been using the Tornador for awhile now. Can you tell us all of the different applications for which you have found it useful? i.e., carpets, seats, between door and body, engine, etc. What I am interested in, is, in these applications, does it do it very well, or does it do an ok job, but you end up with brushes and a microfiber towel in the end?

    • @alanjezusko1197
      @alanjezusko1197 9 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      +Alan Jezusko I guess I could explain a bit more. You explain that the business is constantly changing. Whereas you used to do all jobs by hand, you might have decided since your discovery of the Tornador, that some jobs can be done easier, quicker, and/or more successfully with the Tornador. Could you do a video on those jobs that can be done like that?.. or even just discuss it a bit?

    What do you mean by your dilution ratios? Is is 10 ounces of water and 1 ounce of concentrate? Just very confused - thanks!

    • @autofetishdetail
      @autofetishdetail  9 ปีที่แล้ว

      Andy Music Yes. Your description would be a 10:1 ratio. The first number is the water, the second number is the concentrate. The volume you have chosen is in ounces. The same would hold true if you were mixing gallons. Many people get confused by this problem. So based on your example, you would end up with 11 ounces of solution.

      Would you have to use a spray bottle of water to clean off the chemicals if you were not using the tornador to rinse them?
      Basically what I am wondering is if super degreaser, APC, or Rapid Remover will burn someones skin left on the carpet or residual.

    • @autofetishdetail
      @autofetishdetail  9 ปีที่แล้ว

      mich gonz I think it is a better choice. You are limited with an extractor due to the size of the extractor head. The Tornador can clean hard to reach areas and surfaces that an extractor could not get to. In a perfect world, you would have a steamer, a Tornador, and extractor. But you can get buy without all these tools if you wanted to. It would simply mean you are limited as to how clean you can get materials and the types of jobs you can do, or the amount you can charge for your detail services. I would put the Tornador at the top of my list and then the steamer if I had to choose, but each tool has its limitations and benefits.

      remember you're spraying solution to your section. for example.... you do one door and compressor starts up again. by the time you wipe it dry, you'll be good to go to the next section. you don't need a 50 gallon compressor, a 10-15 is perfect as long as you have the right scfm @ 90 psi.

    • @autofetishdetail
      @autofetishdetail  9 ปีที่แล้ว

      Steve Van Der Vorst No. I use the cart based on the job I am doing; mostly I use when I am doing paint correction and have my buffers and my "buffer kit" that I need handy access to while working around the car.

    • @stevevandervorst6641
      @stevevandervorst6641 9 ปีที่แล้ว

      Oke, because you said in this or the previous video, i'll get my interior cart... it seemed a bit crazy to have multiple carts in the van... organize the cart on the spot according to the job: makes sense

    • @autofetishdetail
      @autofetishdetail  9 ปีที่แล้ว

      Steve Van Der Vorst I have most things organized into different containers. I have my bucket jockey that essentially contains everything needed for the interior: www.best-auto-detailing-tips.com/husky-bucket-jockey.html
      And then I have a container for all my polishes, polish pads, sand paper, etc. I have another container that houses my buffers/polishers, etc. So based on the job I am doing, I can set these containers on the cart and have my tools, products, etc. conveniently at my disposal.
      It's all about organization and efficiency....which then equals profitability.

      @stevevandervorst6641 9 ปีที่แล้ว

    That thing looks pretty intriguing but 175 bucks for me isn't happening. Is there some cheap Chinese knockoff version? There doesn't seem to be much to it. If I was a professional I'd spend the money but to use it a few times a year I can't justify that.

    my sister has a brand new darkish gray BMW. the other day it was covered in a thick layer of gravel dust and brown dirt dust from a graveled lane. I was standing there looking at her new BMW covered in dirt as she takes a dirty shop rag off the ground and starts wiping the gravel dirt dust off her new assed BMW. I almost had a heart attack. I told her not to do that and kind of explained why but.... oh man, lol
