  • My interpretation of the classic Titanic movie theme song My Heart Will Go On. The song was originally composed by James Horner and it was originally recorded by Céline Dion. Thanks for letting me know how you like it!

@xs2ahmed Thanks for the compliments, I really appreciate it. Basically my first goal is not to attain million views but to have fun instead :) well, it might be interesting to try out some newer songs from current top artists and see how it differs!
The piano is Clavia's Nord Stage EX and I really like the feel of it - highly recommended.
To start playing the piano, I suggest to start relatively simple but full. In short this means to play octave with left, chords & melody with the right!

@xs2ahmed It would be fun to share some thoughts on a video sometime about playing the piano / playing covers, so I'll probably come back to the video part later on.
In general, both hands should play notes based on the same chord, e.g. C major.
Left hand: With a piano 'octave' means playing for example the middle C key and the lower C key, leaving six white keys in between them. --> I use thumb for the higher and little finger for the lower.
Right hand: supporting chord + melody sounds good

@aaxll Hey thanks for your suggestions, I have a question. Could you explain to me when you say play octave with left ? may be if you could refer me to some video ? Another question is when you play melody with right hand, what notes would you play with the left as a rule ? ofcourse they are not the same as notes right ? for example even in your current playing of titanic you play chords/notes on the bass/left which support the melody.. are there any rules for bass if only melody is known to us?

And yes your piano seems very nice and expensive .. I love to learn piano I bought once but then sold it because of moving here and there... but the biggest trouble for me was simultaneously playing treble and bass .. I just felt I could never be able to do it :(
