I had the exact same experience with the Clinique Beyond Perfecting Foundation + Concealer. It's also in a large tube with a large doefoot applicator. I'd bet anything the formulas are similar.
You are right about this working better for oily skinned people. I’ve seen positive reviews from people with oilier type skin. I’m a dry skinned lady, so it’s a no for me.

I bought this product this morning before watching reviews… 🙄 The first one I watched was Morgan Turner and she loved it. However, she only did a little spot concealing. She was saying how the brush that’s included did well under her eyes. She did say it’s difficult to get into the corners because the brush is too fat. However, doing one eye with the included brush, and the other eye with a sponge… She got full coverage using the brush because she was bouncing it instead of swiping, and it kept the product in place. She did a 10 hour ware test and it still looks great under her eyes… Full coverage 10 hours later .. So I was happy about it Now I watched yours and I am rolling my eyes saying to myself “why are you so trigger? Happy with your purchases ?”. I too have dry skin. I know I can return it but if I’m being completely honest. …. I am terrible at returning things. I’m just way too lazy to pack things up and go to the post office. The money I waste on, make up should be a crime … Well, thank you for the review. And yes, I can see how this did not work on your skin at all. …. Wish me luck.
Pretty much new trying concealers. I used the Neutrogena one for years. Last year I decided to try the new Dominique Cosmetics one which is nice but didn't blow my mind. I recently bought the NARS one which is pretty similar but I like the applicator from the Dominique Cosmetics better.
😮 It’s in such huge packaging but really isn’t even that much product! What in the world!! Wait…it smells like paint? 😖 I would never use that brush so that’s no use to me, either. And it’s so drying it made you itchy? Gah! Thank you for the honest and detailed review! I’m passing on this one. Your eyes are gorgeous, though! I never got Rose Quartz, but maybe I should!!
Thanks for going in full detail how this concealer stays and wears on your skin, it looks very dry and also seems like it is just sitting on your skin, instead of looking smooth. I have never had success with UD concealer and foundations, so this is a big pass for me.
Honestly because I also have dry skin, none of UD’s complexion products have worked for me (except for the tinted moisturizer), so the word “matte” makes me go 🤨 “yeah, no thanks”…but tbh I can’t see normal/oily ppl liking this thing either bc who wants to smell paint on their face? I’ve seen some beauty creators say that UD has fallen off, and this hasn’t exactly argued against it 🤷♀️ Like don’t get me wrong, I still love their Vice lipsticks and their pencil eyeliners but nothing new has impressed me anymore
I saw this at Ulta and I’m happy I didn’t grab it, I’m def considering their hydro tinted moisturizer. It’s a little funny that I never see anyone on their PR obsessed with their products 😂

The packaging at first wasn't my jam. After hearing the paint smell, definitely not worth a purchase! Back to sticking to the same old same old.

The packaging is just so wacky and extra. And for no reason.
They do give you double the amount of concealer. Most brands don't give more than 10ml.
