I’ve owned the 8006 and 9006, I really liked the 9006, but they are to expensive for how many I would need to switch, so currently i’m still using 8 srx828sp. the 8006 was tight and loud but was missing everything below 40hz Ideally I would like the single version of a 9007 or tt56 for size and performance when I upgrade
I have the 8008’s with the RCF 945’s and I agree. EDM/Trap/Hip Hop sounds amazing with these newer subs. 8006 had an amazing punchy sound but didn’t go deep enough
I own two RCF Art 932 and use them for a pop/rock band, what sub would you recommend between 15-AX and 18-AX ? (8004 is too expensive). Gigs take place both indoors and outdoors (between 50 and several hundred people)
It is a product from Palmer called the Monicon XL. It works great for doing speaker demos at the shops when we don’t want to break out the Palmer Grand Audition.
they seem to be voiced differently, with the 18-AX having a larger soundstage. although the 18-AX does seem to go a little bit deeper, the 8004 seems to produce more impactful(?) bass🤔
@@sweettreeproductions2149 and if all i wanted was to play music through it, it wouldn't help having greater impact in the 50-65Hz area? although it's nice to go deeper, i kinda liked the impact of the 8004 as well🤔 there're always trade offs😔 why can't they make something perfect, suitable for all occasions/uses...🙄
@@DJRIKSTAit can but the 8004 is ported differently and has a different amp module so it will still sound a little different. It will get close though.
@sweettreeproductions2149 ah okay I had a pair of the 8003mkii. I heard the new 8003mk3 and it seems to play lower but also limits a bit earlier just like the 8008s but has the same sound signature so hopefully the 18x would be better
RCF make duoble silicone spiders & treated foam, loosing 70% of it's potential. same for Faital Pro. They should let them play long excursion like coil needs. Soft spider, soft foam.
not a game changer at all in my opinion and I’d take a qsc ks118 over it… tone wise nothing special at all! Starting to feel like rcf has been putting out some products mainly a lot of new subs that aren’t giving its rated power…
Guys unfortunately RCF is going into a not so good direction. In the last demo event (were many speakers manufacturers participated) RFC had almost the weakest representation. All the new series are garbage, they are advertising tons on Watts and SPL but, these speakers are not delivering what you expect. Same for these new SUB series ... 1100W for 18-AX but the power consumption is only 300W. How is this possible? The only thing great that they have is RCF (TT+ AUDIO) GTX, but too expensive.
8003 MK3 or 18 AX, which of the two do you recommend me to buy?
Thanks for making this, what was the difference in overall output/headroom between the two boxes?
Thank you! They are very close the 8004 seams to have a little more volume but not a lot.

These really remind us musically of our 9006’s

Thanks for the comparison! Any thoughts on the sub15ax trying to replace my evox12 with something better but still staying light
We haven’t heard them yet but hopefully will soon. From what we have been told they are great.

We would definitely recommend the 18-AX for that genre. If you are in the United States give us a call we can save you a ton.
@@sweettreeproductions2149 Thanks for your reply, I live in France so it's a bit far :-)

The 18-AX really reminds us of our 9006 tone wise. We agree the 8004 has a more useful 50-65hz that we like for kick drums in a live band situation.

what is the song in 16 min?
8004 is still the best. but both are good.
They both have their place for sure.
Just here to let y'all know the 8003 mk3 was not it.. I think this is the same box acoustically. Used it like 3 times and sold it.
@@andrewburlingame7284 we didn’t like the 8003 MK3 either. The MK2 was an entirely different sounding sub. This sub, however, is pretty great.
That's tight!
They really are
"25-45" Hz, but the specs say they only hit down to 35Hz on the website..🧐
The sine wave generator begs to differ 😂 The 8004 almost inaudible from 25-35 the 18-AX delivered.

We hate to hear that. We were really impressed with this sub. It reminded us a lot tone wise of our 9006’s
it’s possible with power efficiency, which RCF has a lot of focus on right now
