Thank you for this awesome video, Nick. I have used Sketchup for basic 3d modeling before, yet I am very new to layout. My goal is to use Layout to create construction documents as you do, but I do not need/ want to show materiality on my elevations. Is there a layout template or style that you would recommend to achieve this? I ultimately am looking for all black and white construction documentation, and perhaps add shadows later as I get more familiar with Sketchup. Thank you.

why is that after inserting a elevation into layout and in standard views I do not have south, north etc views but only left, right etc? and when you choice one of the right or left it still shows the elevation in perspective and not in the south like it does for yours, what am I doing incorrect? I bought your book and looking where this can also be accomplished. is this done in setup?

HI Eddie: Thank you for buying the book! Yes, you setup all the views in Sketchup as Scenes. Then in Layout you can select the specific scene and scale.
