    Kyle you said it most of us here have been with your amazing journey and walk in PH for many years ,yep we do get concerned when we see you hurt we like to see your well and healthy ,reason is after so many years being with you and your channel your a part of each of our lives and families we truly regard you as our brother and yes Therine as our sister we all have so much respect and love for you for being who you are ,it's not just the Philippine folk that love and respect you, it's all of us from many many countries around this world we all live on . Love this video so wonderful how locals really wish to communicate with you and you with them and the happiness they have when they hear you learning and talking in their dialect ,your teaching us all in how to bond much further with Philippine people so we all grow together in greater understanding of each others ways and culture's and the relationship you have over your 9 years with locals inspires us to be better in how we can learn and respect the people of this wonderful country called the Philippines .thank you and the people of the Philippines for your patients and forgiveness of how sometimes we don't always behave correctly towards you and you really don't hold it against us even when we fail . God Bless .

    People from the highlands are generally honest ones, perhaps because they are one tribe, unlike from the lowlands ,where everyone came from all sorts,and all walks of life, so yeah, issue on trust with regards about forgetting something, you'll never go wrong with them, it's rooted in them, safe travels enjoy the ride...

    Obviously, we in the rural Philippines will always be considered poor by Westerners spoiled by the modern consumptive (and unsustainable) lifestyle. We, on the other hand are content, and satisfied. There simply is no comparison between cultures. It is what it is.

    • @freakyflow
      @freakyflow 2 ปีที่แล้ว +36

      I as a Native Canadian Have been to the Philippines I stayed in what is looked at by many Pinoys as the worse part of Manila
      I seen garbage. I seen kids with no shoes Scars and sores on thier legs But Unlike Westerners I seen Happy people smiling Kids playing outside with each other We do not have Vendors on the street Or people that sit outside the house No dirty kitchens No interaction. As Easterners see Westerners as rich We live in debt We sometimes owe so much money We will die And still not pay it off You work And work You lose your happyness to worry You see more of strangers at work Then family at home
      So if you ask me Philippines is rich with culture And the people There is always food There is always a smile ...Be proud

      @@freakyflow , Exactlt said Sir!!!!! SOME "Balikbayans" ( fellow Filipinos who migrated in Western big countries who return for a visit) says so. They are envious of simple contended genuine happy life living in PHL , almost debt free , comparing the facade of modern updated expensive possesions and lifestyles of Filipinos in Western counties BUT DROWN OF DEBTS .
      I also seen in other developing countries vlogs or war torn countries vlogs of simple living & happy life , although deprived of other modern expensive things.

I have sisters with my nieces and nephews in Batangas. I am in the United States in Las Vegas, NV. With everything so expensive right now, I unfortunately can't travel internationally. I will eventually and visit, as well as spoil my nieces and nephews in Batangas. 💯🙌

    Love the guys riding the go-cart down the mountain road. They must get moving pretty fast, but I feel bad for them when it's time to bring it back up the mountain afterward. You were almost in a situation that could have been just as bad with the flat tire. A big salamat to Boy Perstyme for giving you the tire sealant.
    That lemon meringue pie looked sooo good! That is one of my favorite pies because it is so refreshing when the weather is hot.

    You know Kulas road trips are always tiring but they are a wonderful experience! Back in the Aussie spring of 1998 I drove my family 10,500 km around Australia, and yes it was tiring because I drove the whole way, but it is something that I have never forgotten. My kids are adults now and I know they still remember it. Unfortunately my first wife passed away in 2015, but I married Ling Ling and moved here to Mindanao in 2017. We need to take every opportunity that we get, because life is too short. Amping ka sa imong pag lakaw Datu Kulas!

    if i am right,that road your traversing will pass through the mountain instead of going around it.and your lucky because the road is already cemented not like when we pass that route.the small villages is still rustic as i remember.when your in bontoc,your going to walk along the clouds.if your higher than the clouds,that means it's going to be much colder.i'm very much surprised what it became after my first and last visit visitt.and that was almost 2 decades ago .

    Substituting the city cars for oxygen producing flora in the provinces is just one huge health advantage over living in the big smoke polluted cities.

      Better check the weather if you ever decide to go, it is cold up there and tends to rain.
