Her voice became better, she became more confident and it's obvious that she likes singing. She's happy and I hope that she won't get pressured. I hope she's not thinking about the need of being successful at a young age like her mom. You are appreciated, Nicole! Just keep on doing what you love!

Besides being impressed with the performance, I just love that she chose this song to sing! I don't think ONCE UPON A MATTRESS is a very well-known show, nor is the song "Shy" very well-known to casual musical lovers. It's a funny song where you have to show personality while you sing, not just produce some pretty notes. And there is belting. Super cute.
