- You know, Super Metroid was not as funny series as I thought it was. But that's my opinion. Oh well, my next compilation will be Shovel Knight or maybe something else, still deciding.

11:00 was literally the best part!
I once glitched the part where mother brain was supposed to keep shooting you with those blue circles of doom, I could move around and keep dodging them and I kept that up for like 3 minutes until got hit again. Aaah Super metroid is such a fun game.

I remember watching them with that very end run to the surface. I really do like to listen to them shoot the breeze, and pretty much any other part of just about any game they play I don't mind if they're screwing up badly so long as they're having a laugh or trying to make a point about something. But that last run to the surface, man, that was just too stressful to be talking about German bands or whatever. "I don't care about sausage parties or whatever, shit's exploding, just concentrate and get to the surface!!!"

The metroid absorbed mother brain's beam, so when it died, that power from the beam was absorbed by samus' power suit. if you read the first manual of metroid, it would say that the power suit could absorb the power of its enemies. the mega metroid wasn't samus' enemy, but it sacrificed itself to save the universe becuase the space pirates downloaded missiles and did a system restore on motherboa- i mean mother brain.

Hanafuda is a type of japanese playing card, and is used for several games.

Cuz the recording framerate is 30 and the game play framerate is 60
The sprite disappears for one frame and comes back the next but the recording only picks up the frames when the sprite is gone

Did the metroid save samus because it thought she was her mother somebody explain this to me
The baby Metroid was from Metroid 2 on the Game Boy, which Samus found at the very end of the game after the last boss. It hatched from its egg and, just like a baby bird, the first thing it saw was imprinted as its mother. She then takes that baby to the research center and that is what's stolen by Ridley at the start and what helps her at the end. The explanation is in both the in-game text and explained by Arin at 2:13.
