- Well, you guys weren't probably expecting this, but it happened. This series started out very slow but built its way as an amazing play through by the grumps near the end. The best episode of this series is part 14, I put that entire episode into this compilation because it was fucking awesome. Don't forget to subscribe to my channel and to the grumps channel too.

The only thing I don't agree with Arin's "It's a Dream" theory is this: If it was in his head, how did the kid get his big dog up into the treehouse? Also, being in his attic at the end was like a last ditch effort of the darkness trying to escape and get to Earth/Andy and Barfy.
It's probably he had a make-shift lift. Something like that wouldn't be uncommon in a video game like this.
Arin just thinks its a dream cause Andy ended up back at home.
At around 18:00, Arin starts to sound like a smoker, but when he says "it happened to me" at I think 22:25, he sounds like a 65 year old homeless man

9:47. This game scared the shit out of me as a kid, I'm glad I didn't even get through the first part because battling a enemy that regenerates and duplicates every time would be a nightmare. Quite literary
Never before has a playthrough caused me so much pain to watch. With each solitary death, I cringe even harder and begin to understand Arin's suffering. It's incredible he's still sane
Does anyone else notice that those shadow creatures resemble Heartless?
And that the title is Heart of Darkness sounds like something from Kingdom Hearts?

If Arin was on the cusp madness at Battle Kid, this game pushed him 15 feet over the edge.
You say that yet I'm sure he played this first.
But Battle Kid came pretty damn close to snapping him at this level regardless. If he kept playing...Yeah, Battle Kid would take Heart of Darkness's crown by a landslide.

DANNY PLEASE!!! Hahaha oh poor Arin
I feel Arin's pain - this game really does separate the men from the boys... I would say it's not as difficult as Super Empire, but it IS more HONESTLY difficult. The puzzles and endurance faceoffs in this game feel planned and well thought-out - Super Empire just feels like you're surrounded by spawn points all the time right from the getgo.
And besides, this game features a 10 year old kid repeatedly dying in some of the most horrific ways imaginable to fuel your nightmares! :P

i remember Trying to play this game when i was like...10 or 12 idk, it was at a friend to my dad's place and he had it, so i tried it, and i couldnt even get past like the 5th screen of the game before Constantly dying, i didnt even have time to lose my fkn gun before ending up completly sucking and giving up xD if only i knew what horror awaited further on....makes me glad i didnt get past that part XD

4:23 When Dan sang that part I recognized it, so i looked up “Fraggle Rock” and its from that flippin’ tv dhow that scared the piss shit outa me as a kid. I haven’t been able to find it for years omg Dan how could you bring up all these bad memories. Its came out in the 1980’s and I’m an early 2000’s kid, I wasn’t even supposed to see it!
