So we are back in the OG timeline Of The Iconic Halloween series with Halloween 2! After failing to kill stubborn survivor Laurie (Jamie Lee Curtis) and taking a bullet or six from former psychiatrist Dr. Sam Loomis (Donald Pleasence), Michael Myers (Jonathan Prince) has followed Laurie to the Haddonfield Memorial Hospital, where she's been admitted for Myers' attempt on her life. The institution proves to be particularly suited to serial killers, however, as Myers cuts, stabs and slashes his way through hospital staff to reach his favorite victim. Michael Was even more scary in this one!

Fun fact about the mask it’s the same mask that was worn in the original Halloween. It just looks different because Debra Hill took the mask and she kept it underneath her bed in a shoe box for three years and she smoked a lot. And also the deputy who ran over Ben Tremor and let him up was actually played by the stunt coordinator Dick Warlock Who also played Michael Myers.

That hospital is a VA complex in the san fernando valley in SoCal. I worked security there for a movie that shot on the location. This was like 10 years ago, but they remodeled a lot of the place to where it's almost unrecognizable. I was there for a week every night telling myself this place looks familiar. After like 6 days I saw an entrance that looked exactly like the movie, the doors with that brick facade and put it together. The area where the guard had the cat jump on him and he gets killed looks EXACTLY the same.
Also the cop that hits and kills the kid with the Myers mask on is the guy who plays Michael' dick warlock, the greatest name ever lol. john Carpenter was forced by the studio to make this, and he didn't know how to come up with a story to continue it. He says one night he got some beer got drunk and wrote the fact they're siblings. He regrets doing that, as it's a lot scarier having him just pick someone to fuck with.
Billy Warlock’s dad from Baywatch and Days of our Lives. He had a cameo here, I think his other son bumped into Yers with the ghetto blaster on his shoulder.

I like the timeline of Michael and Laurie being siblings, but I understand why they wanted to change it for a different storyline they just basically didn't go past 78 in terms of the continuity of them being siblings. But I'm team Michael and Laurie being Brother and Sister.
Laurie and Michael are brother and sister. Laurie was adopted by the Strode Family.

Halloween 2 is the best sequel in my opinion
I think Halloween 1 and Halloween 2 a great movies, I like the smooth early '80s vibe of the second one again both are great but I give the slight edge to the first one nice reaction from you guys.
At 20:19, the sound of that hammer swing was hilarious. 😂🤣😭!
The mask in this movie Is the same mask from the first movie. It looks different because Nick Castle use to keep it in his back pocket in between shoots. Also Debra Hill kept it under her bed that’s why it looked dirty and the color looked altered because she was a heavy smoker. It also fit Dick Warlock face differently cuz he was a bit stockier then Nick Castle
I love this film, but the blatant hit and run of Ben Traimer by the police, always makes me go WTF:) also gun toting Doctor Loomis, and Bud’s rendition of Amazing Grace, just give it that added charm:)
The paramedic that was with Laurie in the hospital wasn't talking about getting her COCAINE, he was talking about getting her a can of COCA-COLA soda. Laurie wasn't into doing drugs.
The chase sequence with Michael and Laurie in this one is my favorite out of all the Halloween films. Just a perfect sequel that could surpass the original

Halloween 3 is great. Put Michael Myers aside, it’s a really good suspenseful sci fi movie. Real good soundtrack from carpenter.

That was the same original Michael Myers mask in this movie, it just was worn by a different actor. Nick Castle and Tony Moran played Michael in the first movie. Dick Warlock played Michael in this movie.

The deputy driving the Sheriff cruiser that hits Ben Tramer into the van and it explodes is Dick Warlock. Dick Warlock played Michael in this movie and a Deputy.
He was also in H3 and Kurt Russell's stunt double for 30 years
I should also mention it was never confirmed but if you watch H20 John Laurie’s son is named after his father who we are led to believe the possible father is Jimmy the paramedic from Halloween 2 (1981). If you watch the sites for television version after Laurie is placed in the ambulance someone sits up and she thinks it’s Michael in back of the ambulance. It turns out Jimmy was only knocked unconscious from slipping on the blood from Nurse Alves. The sheet covering him reveals his face and they both share a smile after Laurie calms down realizing Jimmy wasn’t doing it to scare her. One thing you incur from this added scene is you get the impression he was either assumed dead? Or maybe he was stable but was left unconscious?

@Truest Cato Maior4Evah Oh, I see what you're saying. Okay, I'll go along with that. But, as someone who isn't a fan of Halloween III, I don't dress up as Myers, and to me, the Halloween series is about him. I don't Hate H3. I just don't care for it As Much as the movies With Myers.
Like the song, Stabbing in The Dark, says, "[he changed] the face of Halloween." So, as a fan of the character, it's just not Halloween - To Me - if Myers isn't there for me to watch do his thing.
I'd definitely recommend that reactors watch it if they want to. I'm just less likely to tune in for it, preferring to wait until they get to H4. But, I wouldn't complain about it if they choose to react to it.
That doesn't make me delusional. I love plenty of other Halloween movies and TV shows - It's The Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown, Sleepy Hollow, Trick 'r Treat, Pumpkinhead, Scream, and Goosebumps episodes, to name a few.
I just wish fans would stop trashing each other over it. It doesn't make sense to me. We love the series, but getting mad about how much someone likes or dislikes the movies, masks, etc just goes way too far. It ruins the fun of talking about it with other fans when the name-calling and hostility starts.

This mask is the same one used in Halloween. It's more weathered and dirty. And it looks different because of the shape of Dick Warlock's head compared to Nick Castle's from Halloween.
Did anyone notice how when ben trammer was hit by the police car his body was slouched against the hood but when the camera cut back to his burning body he was magically standing straight up😂😂

Halloween III is tied into the rest of the franchise. Mrs Blankenship was supposed to have dinner with Harry Grimbridge before he was murdered and in Halloween 6 the woman that is helping Michael in the cult of Thorn and renting the room to Tommy Doyle is Mrs Blankenship. There also more of the same continuity scenes in the franchise that shows even though Michael isn't in season of the witch they're the same universe and timeline

This movie & the rest of the movies after is not connected with the new timeline. It’s just the first one 1978 & 2018 is the sequel 40 years later.

I know Michael is not really human and doesn't need to eat, but if I was him I would've at least finished making those ham sandwiches that old lady was making in the house, then I would just sneak out the back door with the knife, the bread and the ham.

Damn shame what they did to poor Ben Tramer, an obvious red herring because there was no chance in hell Michael was going to die that early in the movie, what would have been the point to the rest of the movie, fans would have been so pissed if the rest of the movie was about everyone else's shenanigans, would have killed the movie right then and there without Michael, part 3 was a calculated risk that didn't work at the time but over the years it's gathered a cult following.
If you plan on doing the whole series skip 5 and 6 you can still watch them on your free time but they’re not worth reacting too and definitely don’t even bother with the Rob Zombie movies both reacting or just watching on your free time

Because Halloween Ends is Saturday night and I think we are going not sure yet but once we see Halloween ends we will pick back up with Halloween 4 but we didn’t want jump in theaters to see a movie after watching Halloween 4 and 5 so hope this make you feel better lol love you guys
