- A safety element to identify the original Lacoste t-shirt is the logo on the chest (alligator, crocodile)... carefully inspect any extra material, everything must be clean... carefully inspect the crocodile's teeth - they must be straight, they are fake trambi ... also the zig zag stripe on the alligator's body ... on the original it is interrupted up to the eye, on the fake it is connected to the mouth of the crocodile .... the original tail is thinner, compared to the fake one which is thicker... the claws with the ocodil can be seen in relief, the fake ones are round... The fake Lacoste T-shirt is made in India... also carefully inspect the fixed label from the top on the inside... in the original, the crocodile is green and the Lacoste text is written at the top horizontally in front of the logo... compared to the fake one, which shows the first logo in a yellowish color and the Lacoste text at the bottom... another safety element is the fixed label from the inner top with the size of the t-shirt.... the fake one is smaller, indicating size M, compared to the original one, which is longer, indicating size M plus the text FR 4, US M... if the removable label does not show the Lacoste company logo, then you are surely dealing with a counterfeit T-shirt.

The only problem is that the other polo is made out of polyester instead of cotton which would get hot and also stinky after a while.

no one cares, gladly pay for knock off, hardly tell the difference, but major savings in my pockets. I'll let the poor people keep the original, but cause I'm rich I'll just take the fake 🙃
