I’ve played this game a lot back in the day and from my experience, I would say it’s a licensed game that’s fine for what it is. The overall premise of the game is very simple, which as stated, is to steal gifts and Christmas related items without being caught by the Whos. It starts out very easy, but gets more and more challenging the further a player progresses into the game. At times, the difficulty level can be quite frustrating and difficult for most players. The graphics and music are fine for the system it’s on, not the best I’ve seen, not the worst, either. I think it’s interesting to have the Grinch’s Dog, Max, be a playable character for some of the levels, too. The downsides to this game is the gameplay can be long, challenging, and at times, very repetitive. Overall, this is an average movie licensed game that I think fans of the Grinch movie will enjoy, but will probably get tiresome for other players after a while.
This is the best Christmas-themed game I've ever played
This version actually did better than the PS1 and Dreamcast ports.
Metal Gear Grinch.
And Konami made it as well
This actually looks really fun, like a kid-friendly Metal Gear
And Konami made it as well
I would have been happy to get this for Christmas.
This game is genuinely great. Konami made a mix of Metal Gear and Pac Man work very well
1:45:00 You can tell the artist had fun with this game
Why didn't the background music play "You're a Mean One, Mr. Grinch"?
Copyright, that’s why.
@@o.h.x-9062 But... it's based on the movie, and THAT's based on the TV special, which is based on the book!
@@marcusyates3044 Music copyright is hell, you should know with TH-cam being around this long.
DKoldies was just talking about this game.
