I believe this was fairly judged. This season has been the best in years for pan. All Stars was the party arrangement. They digged deep and brought back the Catelli days. ..High pitched fast runs. It was beautiful and entertaining. Renegades did something different . They stepped away from the party arrangement and arranged a very skillful and complicated piece. Those players demonstrated their skill and knowledge. Nobody could've arranged what Mr Stuart did. That was masterful. One sound was party, and the other was pure brilliance.
I'm so proud of them. They literally gave me goosebumps. Their strategy of play is very well orchestrated. I loved All Stars performance as well, they had the upper hand on them with their movementations during the first half of their performance but I realize BP had all that in check and then exploded and displayed their finesee. Well done!
Renegade was more defined with adventurous skits and style. All stars had the energy which we knew they would but their old skits we've heard before. Both bands bought the right energy that everyone was looking for. However, my personal belief that Renegades had the edge but , that's why they had those JUDGES and we have to accept it. Congrats to both bands.
From the national anthem quote to the end the arrangement was absolute fire. Runs and key changes with ease, Giving the engine room a little time to shine while everybody sang and that classical inspired, Beethoven like 5-1 ending. Just masterful
As one of the players of renegades this year, we had the better piece, All stars had the better performance (in terms of moves). I find that the tie is pretty just. Well played to both bands man and good luck next year🙏🙏

I've never been a fan of blind allegiance to any steel orchestra. Although I may have a favorite band, I also realize they may not be the best band in the competition this time around, similar to a favorite team in a sporting event or a favorite 100m Olympic sprinter. Renegades are a fantastically talented band and deserve a place at or near the top of the Panorama Finals. So, I tried an experiment. I temporarily put aside my desire for "my band" to win and I watched this recording first, then listened to it closely without video (with my eyes closed). I did the same with the All Stars performance. The results? There was a clear winner of this competition...it was very close, but I gave the edge to All Stars.....a truly incredible performance. In any case, I congratulate both bands.

Bp Renegades is definitely on another level musically thanks to the genius of Duvonne Stewart. I had Renegades as the clear winner with no tie. Sonically, their overall tone was the most defined and balanced of all the bands. More importantly was the complexity and depth of Stewart's musical arrangement. He has taken the Great "Jit Samaroo Renegades" and made them into an even Greater "Duvonne Stewart Renegades". I expect him to dominate the Panorama competitions for at least the next 10-15 years. Trinidad All Stars dramatic performance was a crowd pleaser but it wasn't as musically complex as Renegades. Leon Edwards provided his usual lead pan gymnastics with extensive jerky chromatic phrasings that was audibly pleasing to most listeners but not overly impressive to Master Music Theorists.

I am a pan enthusiasts, I do not support any band but I like to hear good music. All Stars won the panorama by a mile. I do not know what panorama those judges were listening to. But BP sponsored the panorama so the band they are sponsoring they had to place then first. All Stars had those pans talking. All Stars you are the champions for 2024.
Renegades sound real good until Exodus and then the King 👑 of Bands Massy Allstars. How renegades could tie for first with All Stars nobody knows. BP was good for 3rd place.
Remember that Renegades went into the finals one point ahead of Massy. That alone tells you what the judges thought then. Therefore all things being equal on Finals night, this could be considered a fait result! Just my opinion. Two champion bands. Two champion arrangers. More Glory for the future of pan in T&T.

Honestly, I preferred their semi final performance. Too many changes and the ending in the final cant compare to the ending at the semis. Had Renegades played like they did in the semis, show done, they would have been clear winners. All Stars performance was excepetional also, hats off to them as well.
The only clear cut winner is Massy All Stars followed by Republic Bank Exodus who shouldve been 2nd. BP RENEGADES certainly did not deserve to win this competition !!!
