It was a joy and honor to watch Mr. Sparklez play my map on stream! It seems I have places to improve as the level design didn't help him to find the rooms as easily as I'd first thought. There are many easter eggs and references to different things around the map (Some spotted by chat and Jardon) to which I wonder how many people recognized. I'm glad the map is being received well despite using the same basic principle/premise from the previous 2 maps 4&6 years ago.
You did a great job!
Don't be disheartened by Jardoon's inability to stay focused or miss fairly obviously clues. I am constantly frustrated watching his videos and yelling at him to notice something or another.
And I LOVE the Genshin Impact level and all the minute references. When I first saw the spike, I thought, that looks like the "nail" in GI's Chasm, and even the level is named... then "Paimon" told Jordan to explore ahead later, and I lost my mind! Thank you for that!

Watching these on Twitch made me realise some maps are less him figuring out stuff himself over time and more him walking around cluelessly while Twitch chat tries to steer him in the right direction
That’s why it’s a shame he doesn’t just record himself playing maps anymore. Sure twitch chat is entertaining and can offer interaction when there are blanks and moments of silence, but it also takes away the experience of figuring out things yourself. But I understand that content wise, live streaming is simply the more profitable thing nowadays.
It always amuses me how surprised Jardon gets when he is mentioned in maps, considering how significant his back catalogue is for minecraft consumers

the little lobster child's name is Beatrice. Its from an anime called Re:Zero. At some point in the show she begs the main character to choose her and love her, but he couldn't do it. Very sad

Regarding the leaf and log thing...
Leaves have block states (you can see with f3) for whether or not to decay and how far away they are from the nearest log. They will decay if they are too far away and have their decay state set to true (which they will if naturally generated). While player-placed logs do not decay no matter what, they still have that second block state that tracks distance to the nearest log. Also, this is "transmitted" across leaves of any type. When that log is placed, an observer reading one of the nearby mangrove leaves detects a change in its "distance to nearest log" state.
I see Captn as a chihuahua or a miniature husky. They are territorial, opinionated, and loyal. Has nothing to do with size, just characteristics.

Cap is a Pitbull, strong and sweet, and Kara is a Husky, beautiful and funny. Cool map!
Some mods/maps are just works of art, and the mechanics/features of this one definitely qualify!

If you're open to map suggestions, there's a short Vanilla-style adventure map (around an hour or so) called "Promised Land" by Giraffe015 on Planet Minecraft that I like.
(Despite the name, it has no ties to spirituality or anything- just a crazy story about a rock band on a cursed island. Thought it seemed like something you'd enjoy.)
I loved all the mianite references, they really brought me back. I sometimes forget how deep the lore was with Mianite and just how good it really was

42:11 Genshin reference !! 😂😂 The Chasm is one of my favorite areas
It would take NBT work, but it is possible to make items that aren't consumable look like their consumable counterparts. The rest of the map, though? Gorgeous. The animation is buttery smooth, and the references are very endearing. Nicely done, Brozziest. 😄

As a F2P Genshin player, your interpretation of what Genshin Impact is is funny.
I mean Genshin doesn't force you to spend money. And it doesn't have to be on the phone. I play it on ps4/5 and pc

Tried this map before I watched you do it.. gave up. Puzzles are great - click a random thing that's over here in a random section for a random reason just feels silly. Gorgeous map, blah execution.
Is that not the same with every secret room map? Find a button in this random section, which has no reason of being where it is. The execution is great, I've tried it, failed as well, used basically every hint. It's not a map for beginners, you're not just looking for a button, you trying to connect certain things to find an answer. It's not supposed to be easy, it's a challenging puzzle that you have to solve, whether using hints or not. If you're looking for a more simplistic easy one, try out the first map Brozziest made, each one gets progressively harder.
