Majida is a different class of singers. So powerful yet so tender. She is one of the most respectful artists in Lebanon 🇱🇧 and the world. I love you Majida my old neighbor!
For me, she is the best in history for her wonderful voice, which is unparalleled. I have never heard a voice like her voice. Oh, even similar to her voice. No one was able to sing to her like a song lyrics because of her difficulty, so she is special and wonderful, and you are also because of this choice.

Ok so let me share with you my story with this performance specifically of this song I listened to it for the 1st time 7 years ago, my body was full of goosebumps lile u exactly and i believed that her spirit was not with us, i do believe that she was seeing and living something in her imagination we don't see, and it became one of favorite tracks ever. After almost 5 years i knew that this song originally she made as a dedication to Ahmed Zaki when he died. (He is the most egyptian talented actor that came let me say in egyptian cinema, truly he was the best, and he is my fav actor too) So i became attached to this song hundred times than before❤
Thank u for this wonderful emotional song I haven't heard before, it made my cry a little. If u don't know Mjda El Romy u have missed a lot, pick ur choice from milestones like Salah Jaheen legendary song (others sang it too) مع إن مش كل البشر فرحانين أو "مفترق الطرق" Cross Roads meaning when we reach the crossroads of separation into a painful departure, he starts describing how feels in the morning when memories come back to his heart ... he starts describing the horrible bitterness & grief he is going through ... he lost all hope, that's not fair, that's an unhealed wound that will never be healed,....etc - then he like confronts himself shouting out loud "That's what happened, these are the facts, the reality, the destiny", there's nothing we can do now my friend except saying goodbye to the past and wait for the sunrise... look at the birds, the bees, the babies laughs,...etc Life goes on although not everyone is happy th-cam.com/video/AWavXIlM1IM/w-d-xo.html And this is the original from the movie 70's I guess th-cam.com/video/f_eQOfrz51Q/w-d-xo.html I hope I could made u understand the emotions & the beauty of the lyrics; I'm not sure how much u know about Salah Jaheen and how legendary he was & still too. -KALEMAT "Words" by Nazar Kabbany, meaning almost the reverse of the song "it's only words" here he deceves her with his charming sweet words th-cam.com/video/02zIthIEauE/w-d-xo.html . ❤️

Very beautiful, the first time I’ve heard Majida’s voice too. My first and favourite introduction into Lebanese/Arab music was Wael Kfoury. So if you’ve never reacted to him you must!! I was hooked after. His live rendition of lebnan ya otaet sama and his song belgharam show the range that he has but to be honest sooo many of his songs, and his live concerts speak for themselves- he’s brilliant!
Also if you haven’t listened to Tajdar e Haram by Atif Aslam or Lal meri pat / Lathay di chadar by Quratulain Balouch, you’re really missing out! They are all on Coke studio, and the videos from their channel will have a translation too!
@Ahmad Njord are you trying to play on words even u don't like her u can't ignore She got a great voice You know why she didn't stay in the voice france ? That's because she got contacted to sign a contract Notre Dame de Paris So if that's a Tawashi? It's an appreciated Tawashi at that point
@@28Justchecking you just care about titles and her career. But her voice is very annoying and she's not well trained at all. Not every one who reaches high notes is a good singer. Her technique is very bad, she screams to reach her high notes and her voice "fabric" just isn't special. We just live in a world obsessed with high notes, no matter what the quality of the voice is. I ask you this: if Hiba doesn't have that high range would she have Been special? No she wouldn't. For example listen to Majida, even when she sings low she sounds wonderful and stands out.
This is Adagio but with an eastern twist. She is singing in clear Lebanese dialect and not Egyptian. She is the daughter of the musician and composer Halim al Roumi.
